Anaconda Pipe Camera VS Vevor Drain Camera | Pipe Camera Review

I have same vevor sewer camera with 300 foot. it's pretty awesome for sewer inspection and it does everything i need. My budget is only few hundred dollars for sewer camera,, so Anaconda is not even remotely a possibility so vevor camera is automatic win for me.

Thank you for this comparison sir. I’m not sure if I missed it but how would you compare the locating capabilities? With let’s say Ridgid locator. I’m especially interested in your views on the vevor for this.

what happens if there is a U or Y? can it be turning or rotating?

@@StevenQingchengCao both can handle a Y, the Vevor can handle some bends. The anaconda is a lot tougher to go around tight bends.

How far able are you actually able to go down the line with the vevor, or does it actually do close to 150ft?

I’ve done the same length pipe with both units. It’s about 75’. I had no issues at all with the Vevor. It’s a great cam for simple jobs. The anaconda is way more advanced.

@@hammerandhome perfect thanks! I’m only 23 and starting out my drain cleaning business on the side so the price of the anaconda is a little beyond reach 🤣 the vevor should be plenty good for a residential building drain

i had one vevor and different brand but kinda the same cable and they not really good for long push distance i had 100 ft and only could go about 30 to 40 ft no more than that

Looks like the Vevor would be perfect with a flexshaft for a main drain. Just tape the head of the camera about a foot behind the chain on a flexshaft. Ready to go!

Like the construction and overall quality of that anaconda setup but i'm a DiY home owner so thats extremely out of my range.

The camera skids, to raise the camera up out of the water. Maybe they protect the head but the purpose is to raise them up. No offense, great review. I'd be curious about the Anaconda vs Ridgid camera. Ridgid is higher end and i believe better quality. Definitely more expensive.

The picture / color quality is criminal in this era Edit: nevermind it seems to be the display technology that is outdated and looks horrible at angles Still, for thousands of dollars I don't think a modern panel would be too much to ask

If you want to test, you should test the camera with same size, these two cameras clearly are not the same size, head is also different, one head is fixed, another one is pan&tilt, no idea why you did this comparison, it doesn’t make sense.😂😂😂
