I've got one someone gave it to me because it was broken it only fell from knee height, but landed on the power button which broke it internally I did a bodge repair and got it working but you now have to take the battery out as you can no longer turn it off, but I discovered the best tuner I've ever used so far, the feel and stability are brilliant, but I've decided to try a Peterson now, hope I don't regret not buying a new TC

Had a Unitune delivered today. Disappointed with it so far. It arrived with no battery even though the instructions said one was included. Very hard to clip it on in a sensible way so that it can be read. It moves up and down on the cheap metal clip but not from side to side. The only way I can clip it on and see it is by having it vertical but then the tuning indicators are small. To see full width display it has to be clipped sideways but then it's hard to see and the note ID letter stays sideways. Very strange. Thought it would be more accurate than my Snarks but it's not. AND it cost me three times what the Snarks cost me!

Does anyone here know... I do open tunings like now in open D. I just received my polytune in the mail. Instructions are very limited. It tunes each string individually fine, but when I strum across all the strings it only analyzes the whole open chord of "D" and not each string individually, therefore mine is not "polytuning". Does that only happen with open tuning? They never advertised it that way.

Is this far more better than any clip-on tuners like snark? I have a snark tuner and it's very frustrating to use it most of the time. I don't want to add a tuner on my board because I'm planning to buy a reverb pedal (My board only has a maximum of 6 pedals). Will you recommend this than buying a cheap tuner pedal?

Imo, yes these are better than Snarks. A bit more accurate. Noticable.

I guess by "functionality" she means "function". "Functionality" infers multiple functions, whereas she is outlining individual functions. (I just got my PolyTune and wanted to see some reviews of how to use it. Point got across well... AND I had no idea about the finer tuning feature. Nice. (I can't remember what she called it... Oh yeah: Strobe.)

Yes that's all really good..... but how do I get the battery in without breaking the back of it. The comment 'its really easy to change out' is what the guy said on the other video. Unhelpful!

I bought the Polytune clip on tuner years ago. It's not worth it. A cheap Chinese tuner is just as good or even better. It is nothing but an ordinary KZbin hype that makes you want to spend a lot of money. Do your wallet a favor and buy the cheap one.

Is there no way to clip it on the back of the headstock? Big disadvantage if not.
