Great video! Nice editing and transitions in your scenes, very well done! 👍 Don’t know if it’s just me??? But the players appeared that they are a lot more comfortable on the ice instead of being amongst the fans without their gear on!? Gave the vibe during the on stage game show of… “get me outta here!” 😉😆😂 On a non hockey note… Just wanted to let you know, if you didn’t know already, officially? I contacted the commissioner/owner of the Pecos League in regards to the Lancaster Sound Breakers on if they will be playing at the Hangar (former home of the Lancaster Jethawks) this season. He replied that they were one and done! City of Lancaster opted to go for a professional soccer team within the stadium. He had nothing bad to say about the city but this is the direction they chose to go. Within the next two years they we’ll be modifying the Hangar to where baseball can no longer be played there. One mod as an example, tearing out the dugouts and some seats to be able to have the soccer field lay out in a more north south direction and adding more seating on the East side of the stadium where right and center field are now. I personally thought by the end of their first season here, they had great attendance and more word of mouth about the Sound Breakers being there again this season would have brought more in as far as attendance goes! Quite honestly, with Lancaster losing the Jethawks baseball up here in the Antelope Valley, it has taken a hit as far as Pony and Little leagues go. Those fields have closed down with no teams anymore and have been torn down now. No more future MLB ball players? Have to give the owner of the Pecos League credit, he did try to find another field locally to play at, utilizing other fields in the area so the Sound Breakers would have a place to play but his rep he had here locally could not find a ballpark for them to play. A local private Catholic school just had a new ballpark built that might of worked but it didn’t pan out! He also said the SB’s had the highest attendance in this league last season and they loved playing at the Hangar of all the places they played. Note: don’t know where the private school is going to get ball players locally to play in the future due to the Pony and Little leagues shutting down?? Take care and thanks for the video! Looked like a fun time for you both! Maybe you can try and make it to a Savannah Bananas game sometime? I think they play a few games in Cali for their season? A lot of great players with more of an entertainment ball play value for the fans! Another note… It was mentioned also that a few years back, the City of Adelanto signed on to have a pro soccer team play soccer at the former stadium of the High Desert Mavericks (a California League team) after that Minor League baseball team was dropped. After they converted that baseball field into a soccer field, two years later the pro soccer team was gone!

Thanks! And yes, I heard about the soccer team months ago. It’s too bad that baseball will not be a big part of kids lives in that area. Thanks for all the info!!
