THE LOGO LIVES ON! :D Perhaps soon they'll give us all what we truly want--the Wild Wing logo in that glorious black, orange and gold that they sport now...the web-footed "D" log isn't bad, I don't hate it, but that logo was and is SPECIAL... I GREW UP WITH THAT LOGO! I mean, I started rooting for the ducks arouund '96 or so, almost from the very beginning...Sellane/Kariya/Ruccin=CHILDHOOD!

The new Ducks logo, the web-foot-"D" is OK, but the old WildWing logos were GREAT...damn Disney, I wish we could have bought them away from them... I think the Ducks Black/White/Orangish-Gold colors now with the old logo would be AMAZING, the BEST combo of the two, best jersey period. I miss these jerseys...again, the ones we have now are alright, I like them, but this logo was GOOD, EVERYONE knew who they were playing...

Ducks franchise leader in points, goals, assists, career PPG, Hat-trick tallys, playoff points scored in one post season, PPG in one season, and season records for a player in points and goals. I think you get my drift! As for the most iconic, it sure is a hard choice. You are talking about J.S Giguere and Selanne. Also to a certain extent Paul Kariya. My vote goes for Selanne!

Wait till it becomes a full transition, we won't have the luxury to develop talent anymore, they'll be initiated to the NHL immediately. Yes, Perry and Getz have helped, but we are going to be short with needs of a 2nd line center, a true LW, and a new #1 defensemen if we give up Prongs and Nieds does not come back.

I go to Ducks games when they play a Pacific Division team on a steady basis, and it's obvious you don't have a clue about the Dogs or the Kings. You can judge the Kings now, but next year we'll be the basement team and then you'll regret your current statement. You do realize that we are going have 14 RFA's and 4 UFA's next year? i hate the ducks, but i have to say there old jerseys gave them a style and a unique look. The new ones just look like everyother teams, have no logo (the D was never supposed to be) and look kina like college uniforms. And i mean... black? come on, bring back diversty.

yea definitely man, thts y u would think they would go retro like 85% of the other teams. i heard theres going to be a few more teams getting 3rds this year. 3rds tht r retro: Flyers, Bruins, maple leafs, oilers, islanders, pens,sabres, canucks, ect, so u would have to think theyd lean tht way. I mean cmon now y is it such a bad thing 2 show the mighty ducks mask. This is def the year of the retro jersey. other pro leagues r doing it: MLB, AFL 50th, 76ers went all retro. see the pattern/fad.

I would think so, our main priority right now is to play well before the upcoming deadline (which so far has been horrible) to keep this team from being a massive seller. For us to deal Pronger, it would depend on Niedermayer's decision.

@66Ryansworld That is good! I saw it in action the night it was introduced, and I must say I like it. I have grown to appreciate the third jersey, but I still will criticize it. I think the side piping a la Flames is way too busy, and the orange socks are too busy. However, it is a lot better than a circle logo with Ducks hockey club or something extraordinarily boring, so it grew on me. Only change I would do is put the Mighty Ducks crest in the front and the "D" on the sides!

I agree with you as well Kerry, I miss everything about the old Jade and Eggplant. I loved the days of the Stars/Ducks rivalry, and the passion they used to play with. Now they are old and slow, lack secondary scoring, and the team is going to be in a complete rebuilding stage next year while the Kings and Yotes take over...

Rematch the 2006 Western Conference Finals Anaheim vs Edmonton. On 4/26/2017 Second Round Anaheim vs Edmonton, 11 years later. Randy Carlyle returned but they are no longer the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim. Edmonton ended 11 year drought without the playoffs. Can't wait to watch these two teams go at it again.
