Out of the 3 more well known separatists we see 2 die on screen. You can see Pogle the Lesser for half a second before Vader cuts him in half and as he goes to enter the next room with his Sith eyes you can see Wat Tambor cowering at the opposite side of the room we don’t see him die on screen but he’s 10000% dead and finally the original big separatist Nute Gunray begs for his life before Vader kills him goodbye Viceroy.

Even though he’s not facing opponents who can really fight back, this Vader as arguably the most fearsome, formidable, and dangerous Vader because he’s a sadist in this instance. Righteous fury can only take a dark sided so far, but outright joy and revelry in the fear and death of others elevates this Vader to an immersion in the dark side that rivals Sidious.

Runtime my friend. While that moment would have been cool to include the movie already showed how powerful Anakin is. I mean heck he killed all the Jedi in the temple including any remaining Masters and Knights and even though that was off-screen we saw the hologram footage that Obi-Wan saw and saw his skills at the beginning of the movie. Ultimately certain parts in sequences are cut out in movies to keep the runtime in track and piece together scenes in a way that flows smoothly. Especially here when you’re intercutting between two different planets where different things are happening.

What I don`t get is what was Anakin`s logic in trusting the emperor? After Windu`s death the SIdius says that the Jedi will move against the Senate and commit treason. We know however that Palpatine had already committed treason by playing both sides of the war. So it wasn`t the Jedi who had committed treason and Anakin knew this. The betrayal logic makes little sense. The Council`s demands on Anakin seem justified.

Palpatine groomed him since he was nine. Groomers especially from childhood, they would know how to pull at you and make you believe them. Beforehand, the Jedi never treated him right, alpha of their many examples being refusal to save Shmi when he'd warned them about his visions. He struggled constantly, and whenever he went to them for advice, it was always "control your emotions Anakin" never giving actual good advice. Palpatine knew how to sound tempting, made his promises seem convincing, and thus Anakin trusted him. He only realized after Mustafar but it was too late.

Killed by Vader in a deleted scene. Extended scene which showed all the other separatist leaders being killed including Wat Tambor in the conference room which is a room we see later on in the lightsaber duel. Was most likely cut for runtime and the intercutting between Coruscant and Mustafar. Short scenes that were stamped together required some of the material to be cut out.

It's easy to make fun of Hayden Christensen as Anakin and his dialogue being cringe and his delivery being bland, but 1: pretty much everyone's performances in the prequels were bad with the sole exception of Ewan McGregor as Obi-Wan, and 2: whenever he is not forced to say any cringy dialogue and just has to act with his presence and facial expressions, it really works, and it feels like you're watching a young Darth Vader.
