I want to meet the character who decided to program a droid to be a pirate. Like some guy was smart enough to program a semi-sentient droid, but also thought that the best personality to give him was a naval thief from Earth, circa 1700.

I think in the original trilogy, C3PO and R2D2 are the only fully sentient, good droids. Every other Droid is either just doing the job it was made for, like the medical Droid that fixes Luke up, or they have a nasty personality, or they are sinister like IG88. The Cantina bartender says they don't serve droids because Droids are dangerous and destructive. Maybe when a Droid doesn't have a career anymore, they just turn psycho. Disney Star Wars started making lots of Droids with personalities. I guess they kind of had to if they wanted to expand the story. But that's how they finally created a pirate Droid from Cornwall.

Actualy obi wan is the king of low grounds because he defeated dearth maul and grievous on the low ground so when he said “anikin I have the high ground” it was to temp him to jump so he ultimately has the low ground
