Loved the first two episodes of this -- the notion of taking every childhood pirate cliche and trope -- down to the faulty first mate droid being named after Captain Hook's first mate and making him basically Popeye -- and putting them in the framework of a Stranger Things/'80s Amblin kid adventure movie and set in the Star Wars universe? Fantastic fun. And the mystery of At Attin is definitely intriguing -- near as I can tell, the planet was isolated from the rest of the galaxy sometime prior to the Clone Wars, and I want to know why.

Presumably for the same reason our suburbs look that way: because they were constructed *after* personally owned cars/speeders became commonplace. Obviously suburbs aren't the most _efficient_ use of land, but having a way for certain classes of citizens (e.g, analysts, accountants, and managers) to *buy* a small piece of land with a moderately sized (i.e big enough for a family) house instead of temporarily *renting* an apartment in someone else's building can promote long, steady careers working in local industries.
