A lot of people seem to think that it was Luke who brought balance to the Force and whom the prophecy spoke of, but it wasn't. The prophecy WAS speaking of Anakin. HE was the one destroyed the Sith and brought balance to the Force, just as the prophecy stated. Luke was the one who got him to do it.

Man what a great video, one of your best. Definitely shines more light on the whole saga on a much deeper level than I've ever heard before. Well done!

Retney, is there anything in the lore about Padme, after Anakin passed? Like, was he able to see her and apologize, or have an opportunity to just see her, but not like he had at Castle Vader.

I desperately wish that was the case but I would like to think that in the afterlife Anakin and Padmè reunited.

In Legends, he spoke to Padmé’s spirit and she forgave him

Anakin's conversion to the light (was he ever originally committed to it) is very similar to Christians righteousness in Christ. No matter what has been done redemption is possible. Apparently the force has great grace within.

Or it's a force of nature that doesn't give a damn about morality. But either works.

He was created by the Force, carried out her errand and returned to her. She has her own opinion on how to restore balance in the galaxy. Even Qui-Gon understood this and did not interfere with her script. Although he was clearly not happy that people dear to him were suffering.

After the fall and betrayal, the killing of thousands by his own hand, indirectly killing millions. Obi Wan - "You did it !!🤩"

Lol true tho. Evil sounds a lot more appealing this way if you just gotta apologize before you die.

He was only fulfilling the role assigned to him by the force. And he received a reward for the work done (as well as for moral and physical damage) in the form of the opportunity to become a ghost of power. Even the local goddess pays to her people for the harmfulness of her errands.

Palpatine officially died in episode 6, as did his real body. After that, there were already his fragile clones that could not withstand the power of the emperor and were quickly destroyed.
