Been dealing with this since June 2020. My doctor is useless, referred me for a colonoscopy when I cannot physically bear the pain of more than one bowel movement every 1-2 days, never mind going through the god awful prep required for a colonoscopy. Seriously contemplating ending it all because the severe pain and blood is just unbearable. People who just eat whatever, go to the bathroom and do a normal bodily function every single day without thinking about it don’t know how blessed they are.
@mialmohadayyo95603 жыл бұрын
Don't worry! It's important to have your colonoscopy, they will tell u a diagnostic and give you the treatment your body needs. You will be happy after everything happens! The colonoscopy doesn't hurt, they will give you a moderate sedation... and the important thing is follow all instructions from your gastroenterologist, if there something bad he will tell you right away and give you medicine... I hope you full recovery! God bless you and wish you have a marvelous Dr!

Hi All, I've had fissures since I was in my early 20's. Its scary the amount of blood I see sometimes but I wanted to offer some advice to anyone who is experiencing this and looking for relief. Baby wipes that don't sting and medicated body powder are a must. You will want baby wipes to help clean your backside AND the blood. The medicated body powder (like goldbond) will help with the itching and the pain but youll want it on you all the time. Certain lotions can provide relief as well but youll have to hunt around for one you like. Try to avoid scratching and irritating it even though youll really want to. If it gets really bad you can try stool softeners for a bit of relief but these shouldnt be taken for a long period of time. Try to reach for more fiber when youre eating. Try to avoid processed foods that dont digest well or insane amounts of protein. Drink lots of water, this aids the digestion process. Ill stop there I hope that information helps someone. If you see dark blood see a doctor right away as this can be a sign of deeper intestinal problems, blood from fissures will be bright red. If you have any doubts about the pain you are experiencing or have concerns dont hesitate to see a medical professional. This comment is just to help those currently dealing with symptoms, not meant as medical advice. Good luck guys!

You relieved me, I'm sometimes seeing small bright red/pink blood in toilet/tissue and it is really scary. When it all started doctors said I had an anal fissure and it still persists for 8 months. It was hurting/burning back then but I don't feel its pain anymore. There is only blood if I pass a hard stool
@cody46994 жыл бұрын

Guys and girls who goes through this - please don't delay a visit to a doctor!❤️ This issue is more common than you think, but understandably nobody talks about it in public. Please, please see the professional, the good chance is that you can help yourself and do it sooner rather than later. I will have to go through a surgery soon, I wish I knew things I know now. Its okay to take a laxative. There are lots of fruits and veg that are full of fibre. You can get psyllium in capsules which is almost like a pure fibre. Drink lots of water. Stay active. And, most important - learn more about your body, you will not have another one. Respect it, it takes care of you every single day, please take care of it too!❤️ EDIT: Little update - I have had my surgery and it went smoother than I thought! I am still recovering, but I can honestly say - the most painful sensation I have experienced during the recovery process - was to unstick the heavy-duty medical plaster from my skin on the 1st day after the surgery! 😅 You will be able to walk and even sit (that will be uncomfortable for few days), you get given painkillers, antibiotics and other recommendations. During my recovery I have not had any pain that was greater, than what I previously experienced in WC. Surgery lasts around 30 min and I went home few hours after that. We are lucky we live in 2021, the technologies are great so please don't worry about it and make a first step towards better life! Wish you all the best!

@@XCyberAttackX ahh sorry to hear about your struggles 😓 I am doing okay, I only had a difficulty going first time, because I didnt have the urge the next day, so I skipped a day but it was not problematic after that. I would say I am slowly recovering, going WC regularly, just like before, it is still a bit sore but not more than it was before the surgery. Have you been in touch with your doctor? They might be able to recommend something or have an early appointment to check if everything is okay. I had one strong bleeding one day I got scared, but seen my doctor the next day, she said it can happen. Otherwise I have not had any troubles with the recovery. Hopefully it will go well with you! The body needs time to adjust, make sure you have a good diet and routine too, sending good vibes! 🌟

High fiber (i prefer oatmeal + nuts, psyllium husk has highes fiber and also helps alot) 3. Veggies and oil (i prefer salad and put olive oil on it 4. Maybe the most important advice is RELAX and EMBRACE. Stress is a huge factor as you can read in the comments. Try distracting yourself, stop thinking about it, breath deep. 5. Don‘t give up! Stay strong and watch your nutrition to keep your stool smooth and healthy so you don‘t have to press. 6. Hygene. After EVERY bowel movement you go into the shower and wash with warm water! 7. So I'm on a plant base vegan lifestyle and I have been for years, but recently I really felt like adding processed vegan products to my diet like tofu nuggets and Vegan dumplings, burgers, vegan quiche etc. After eating these foods I became severely bloated and then when I went to the toilet (TMI) I was so severely constipated that I actually tore myself while trying to go. I haven't emptied my bowel properly and I've eaten like this for a few days. I've now been trying to eat clean again and I've even taken laxatives to help smooth out the bowel movement process to help me but it is so extremely painful that I've been in tears. I have a bidet in the toilet and I've been washing myself each time I go and then putting ointment and cream on the tear. However I've had this problem for a while now even when I'm eating clean and even when I go just to urinate I have so much blood coming out of my rectum When I Look Back in the toilet bowl it's full of blood. Now I'm sitting keeled over in front of a fan and I've had to take codeine based painkillers. Each time I go to the toilet I honestly Cringe and hate it. It is the worst pain ever I've also got internal and external hemorrhoids as I've had a colonoscopy in the past before. It really sucks that I can't even have a little bit of processed vegan food here and there when I want. ;( and yes I know codeine makes it worse but guys this pain is unimaginable with not only the tear but the hemorrhoids at the same time blocking my bottom and making it bleed. The hemorrhoids aren't at a stage 4 to be removed so I can't do anything about it. I'm sorry this is so long but right now I'm in front of the fan in pain and I need to express myself because I have no one else to talk to about my bum tear and pain

alright people i also have anal fissure and for 3 weeks it has been hurting like hell. but it hurts less and less because i took measure in my own hands. In order to cure your fissure, follow this advice: - go to your docter and ask him to prescribe lidocaine, it makes going to the bathroom and the hours after that a lot less painful - stop eating fast food or food full with fat, it makes you constipated! - eat stuff with high fiber like whole weed bread, nuts, seeds - drink enough water! i cant stress out enough how important this is - take a bath with little bit of hot water to relax your anus muscle every time you took a dump - DO NOT [i repeat DO NOT] delay going to the bathroom, the poop will be even harder which makes everything worse! - If you have pain while sleeping, put a pillow under your knees to relieve the anal canal

I had LIS surgery 6 years ago. Still I get this hell of a pain from time to time. After a large stool, the crack opens up and burning feeling commences. However after surgery, eventhough i get this fissure sometimes, it tends to heal much quicker like 3-4 days. Also it is not severe as it used to be. However it is still annoying. I think the best way to not to have this pain is to drink plenty of water, avoid excessive alcohol, increase fruit and veggie intake. I hope everyone recovers very quickly from this nightmare.

Sometimes I can do a number of things to stop it before it "starts" but once it does, the deep throbbing pain as has been noted is horrifying. The only way I have found to stop the pain is to vomit, the contractions of my stomach somehow stop the pain. I'm not sure if i have anal fissures but what ever it is it's torture.

The cause of this disease is Constipation for a long period of time. It results because of milk, eating grains, meat and cooked food. Eliminate the above and get onto raw / alive foods. A human being is designed to eat fruits, veggies and nuts. If your disease is in advanced stage then consider water fasting and just living on fruits. There is no better medicine than Fasting. Doctors and medication will only suppress symptoms. Only the right food and Fasting can save you. God bless!!

NONE OF IT WORKED. I can't believe why some people are doctors who couldn't even figured out the problem and after research I figured it out myself and the way you guys are describing it is the same way I'm feeling, I have an opened wound near my anal. I'm only fine when I don't have to go to the toilet but if I go and after that I'm in pain for almost the whole day and it's unbearable, it feels like my life is over. I can't even spent properly time with my family and my relationship is of 3years is also going down the drain because of this shitty situation because I'm moody all the time and frustrated and can't think straight. I think that fear will always be in me but I thank God everyday for making me feel better. The thing u shud do is to avoid constipation. I hope and pray that you will get better coz having these can literally ruin your life. May God bless you.

You can use Anovate Cream. This cream has really helped me during this problem. I usually experience pain when I have hard stool. Keep yourself hydrated and eat a lot of fibers it really helps. I thought my fissure was gone for good but roughly after 2 years it’s back again. A few days of strict routine and it will be gone again.

It's very annoying. I use a magnesium citrate powder every day. It has helped a LOT! And make sure to drink lots of water and eat plenty of fiber rich foods. Stop eating meat, dairy, eggs (no fiber and full of suffering). Don't drink coffee, it makes it worse When I make sure to stay on top of these things my problem goes away.

I been having this problem for 2 years.. Ground beef is my main threat that’s triggers it.. if whatever your eating is too hard/chewy do not swallow it.. When you know your done pooping for the day or atleast a few hours hop in the hottest tub you can sit in.(20 Mins) after about 4-5 days the pain should stop being too painful. Usually after a week my pain is gone but once I eat the wrong food (ground beef for me) it’s back again. My pain usually is completely gone after a week of not eating the wrong food... find out what triggers ur asshole to start hurting and stop eating it.. make sure your asshole is clean. It’s pretty much a open sore and the poop is the alcohol that will burn tf outta u every time it passes thru

Those baths are VERRRRYYY important.. I can go months without pain but once I eat the wrong food I’m fukd all over again.. drink plenty of water especially after eating bread. REMEMBER SOFT FOOD. WATER AND HOT BATH WILL TAKE THE PAIN AWAY... USE TOILET PAPER FIRST THEN WIPES AFTER. NEVER USE WIPES FIRST.. YOU DONT HAVE TO USE WIPES IF YOU DONT HAVE THEM.

Guys I was suffering from this for the past 3 or 4 months. I lost all hope, every day was like a nightmare. Now it's almost over a month I haven't felt any pain at the time of bowel movement. You don't need any surgery for this. The thing that worked for me, I stopped drinking coffee. Yes you read it right, it was the damn coffee which was causing constipation. And because of that I got fissure. Now I am completely fine. Hope it won't come again. I also did some other things, to recover from this. If you want to ask anything, you can ask me here. May god give strength to everyone who has this terrible thing called fissure.

I noticed bleeding in my stool just over 2 months ago. I was in a lot of pain. I went to the colorectal surgeon and I was diagnosed with anal fissure. I was prescribed with diltiazem and thought the ointment was not working. I started applying this with aloe vera gel and I noticed a huge difference. The pain subsided significantly and my bleeding stopped. You need to make sure you're eating high fibre food, taking stool softeners and drinking atleast 2L of water . The main thing is the stool is soft to pass through and you're applying ointment before and after you pass motion. I cannot recommend aloe vera gel enough, it literally saved me!
