I wouldn't mind getting the Direct amp for the stereo outs, but I'm already happy with my Superblock US & UK models. I find that they both thrive with the gain turned way up (for me I max it out and then back it off to get rid of that last boost in noise at max) Then I crank the limiter up anywhere from 2 o'clock to max. The result is a very touch-responsive tone that lets me ride the guitar volume for clean to dirty to lead. It is phenomenal with a Clapton Strat too.
