Nice kit, and well done to add value with this series for each product. Please consider that Triumph, in the final analysis, will discover that poorly developed add-ons priced as though they were top shelf is going to cost them a great deal of trouble with regulators, and lose themselve's full-bike customers. The choices out there are just too varied and too good for people to accept shoddiness or dishonesty. Consider also that pricing is always best, in the final analysis, when it's a function of manufacturers costs and effort, and not as a consideration of what you think a given Triumph owner might stomach. Such calculations have been shown over and over again to be counter-productive, and do not drive customer loyalty or word of mouth promotion, as people have an innate ability to gauge costs and always perceive value with this assessment utmost. So far so great!

Very well said. Besides, it already says "Triumph" enough places on the bike. Why pay all that premium for a name, especially if the quality is wanting.

What are the differences between the reverse bates and the cone housings for the tail light? Contemplating between the 2 for my 2019 Street Twin. Thanks!!

Do you know between the BC slammer seat and the OEM Triumph bench seat , which would complement a cleaner look with your retro kit? Which of the two would enhance concealment of the wire loom to the underseat?

Not sure. It was designed with OEM seat. Never mounted a BC seat.

Because you took off the protection on the inside of the fender, are you more at risk to damage the wiring if it rains?

The Retro Kit wiring harness fits on the top the fender as seen in the video. Not exposed to any elements.

A genuine question which I'm having trouble finding answers for if you can help me I'd really appreciate it. I love the stock ST LED tail light + fender. I have the new 2017 Bonneville T100. Is it possible for me to swap the factory fender+tail lamp of the T100 to the Street Twin? Don't they both have the same chassis and engine? Please help.

Imran, Sorry for late response and you may have already found an answer but technically yes the fenders would swap. But your T100 seat would not work with ST fender. OR at least it would be difficult to get the seat to latch.

Is the tail lamp sufficient to illuminate the license plate?

We tend to think so. The LED tail light is pretty bright. And we have not heard of anyone having trouble with local authorities.

We have not heard of it not working. But have not tested directly on 2024. Doesn’t look like anything changed from previous years.

thanks, I am going to try it out with my new bike. Also, can this retro kit work with a universal plate light TST LED LOW-PROFILE UNIVERSAL FIT LICENSE PLATE LIGHT? I have plan to install this in case i get pulled over riding at night. Thanks!

@@phanuong87 It might fit under the tail light but if not you could flip it and put along the bottom of the plate facing upward onto license plate.
