Analog threshold trigger in a Logo! PLC is a function block used to trigger an event based on the value of an analog input crossing a specified threshold value. The threshold trigger block monitors an analog input and outputs a Boolean value (1 or 0) when the input crosses a set threshold value in a specified direction (up or down).
For example, if you set the threshold trigger block to trigger when an input crosses a value of 100 in the upward direction, the output of the block will change from 0 to 1 as soon as the input value crosses 100 and goes from below 100 to above 100.
Analog threshold triggers are used in a variety of applications, such as control systems, data acquisition systems, and process control systems. They are used to detect changes in the value of an analog signal and trigger events based on these changes.
