Never heard of this photographer, but after seeing your video I decided to buy the book, and so glad I did. It’s a great addition to my collection, Thanks, look forward to the next one.

The Jet Airliner shots are amazing. And so is Greg's library 😎

His photographs are wonderful. My first images years ago were of aircraft taking off and landing at a nearby airport. That was in the earliest days of digital. I am now fully immersed in film photography and should return to where this journey started for me. Thank you for the book review and the inspiration!

Very nice, please do more! It looks as though Greg has quite a book collection! Me, too I was in the EU, and London this summer, after riding the Venice Simplon Orient Express…. (A story for another time) But, we got to go through the Victoria & Albert Museum in London…. They have a huge photography library, and two large display cabinets packed with all types and makes of historic cameras…. I was in heaven! Well worth seeing if you haven’t! Thanks for all that you three do to educate and inspire us to be the best photographers that we can be! Will hopefully be in Germany this next summer…. Would be fun to meet up with you at a kaffee shop somewhere! Of course, my main stop will be Dresden, to view great photographic sites, and view the Technical Museum in the old Ernemann/Zeiss Ikon/Pentacon factory building!!

Hello Analog Insights team. Just wanted to say that I really appreciate your library series. As well as the lesson in german pronunciation. I have a book of his in my library, a rather rare China Li River, and I had no idea of his history. I just assumed a Michael Kenna lookalike, but his retrospective really shows his unique point of view. Thanks again for your videos, and the discussion format. Keep up the good work.

Hello Max. Its been a long while since Greg has been featured. I still remember that video on your channel where Greg stylishly wielded a Contax G. I appreciate that you highlight / discuss a book that is still attainable rather than something out of print that is exorbitantly priced. I have placed an order for this book. Appreciate Greg’s opinions and the fact that you give Greg space to lay out his opinions. Its a testament to your great capacity as a great interviewer. Thanks Max. And you remain a consummate gentleman and professional. I rather enjoyed this to the extent the video seemed too short !

That's a beautiful book, the images are amazing. I recognize some of those places in St. Maartin and Cuba and I also worked in Hotel Management, though I never captured those images as beautifully as Mr. Hoflehner. Thanks Max and Greg for the video!

Absolutely atmospheric photographs. Spotted the „Leica ninetynine years“-book in the background, of which I have an example aswell. Would love to hear you guys comments on this one. Grüße aus München Pasing

Interesting photographer but although the book is reduced it costs almost 3 times as much on top of the price to ship to Australia. Hopefully it will be released here.
