Its refreshing to see someone else who enjoys collecting camera stuff as much as 1 do. My problem is 1 collect other things as well. if 1 could just stick to cameras and photographic equipment there might someday be room for me in my room as well.

Omg. The minolta x700 was my first camera. My mom have it to me when she switched to Nikon. She taught me photogroahy on that very camera and I was blessed that she didn't give me rules. Just taught me what all the controls where and over time, how to use our in house dark room. That camera went everywhere with me. I even stuck it in my backpack. Mom laughed at how much film we developed just for me to experiment and learn. But it was worth it. I had that camera from the time I was a small child until 2015 when the universe made me let it go along with mom's beloved Nikon. He'll I still remember when she put it around my neck. The minolta weighed my little body down. It took a long time for me to learn to move naturally while that camera hung around my tiny body. Bless it's little soul that x700.

Love your negatives/slides folder/canister. So much better than using a conventional office folder. Got to get some!

commenting lots, but as I watch this! The Spectra...I wish I had seen this video before wasting a pack of film on it. I inherited it from my grandpa when he passed and I wanted to get it up and running. I don't think it had a pack of film through it since 2001. Lo and behold, only about half of the pictures were intelligible, the rest didn't eject properly.

What, no TLRs? After so many years away from still photography I decided to get back into it due to your videos. I have a Yashica 635 and recently also acquired a Mamiya C33 Pro. Got some color negative and black and white negative film in 120 to try on them. Also bought a nice Gossen Luna Pro light meter. Like all hobbies it's too easy to start accumulating gear and accessories.

With the exception of Polaroid, large format, and movie cameras, I have/had a similar size collection of photographic gear from the 1960's on. I still have an ancient Rolleicord V and Minolta Autocord to cover medium format. (My serious medium format camera was a Bronica ETR-C with the usual 50/75/150 lens array.) In the darkoom, Nikor, Paterson, Simmon Omega, EPOI, Durst, Kindermann, JOBO, and Kodak brands await a return to chemical-based photography. It is unfortunate that Fuji FP pack film is no longer available; I have a Polaroid 110B that was converted to take pack film, and it would be interesting to do the "peel apart" thing again.;)

I don't, but I built it based on a post I found elsewhere. Mine is pretty rough, but this post has some good information on it! facebook.com/instantcameraguy/photos/a.384560574947152.82507.257189624350915/668328109903729/?type=1&theater

Any chance you'd be willing to tell how you made the instant back for you 4 x 5? I thought about doing something similar for my Mamiya, but not really sure where to start.
@AnalogResurgence5 жыл бұрын
I plan to! But because my list of topics is a little long right now, I'll point you towards the resource that inspired me. This facebook post from an Instant Camera page detailed how to put it together: facebook.com/instantcameraguy/photos/a.384560574947152.82507.257189624350915/668328109903729/?type=1&theater Mine is a little rough around the edges and likes to mess up for me sometimes, but I've had some nice looking results with it as something a little different when shooting Polaroids. I know another company was putting together a kit for Mamiya's that worked a similar way, but I don't know too much about it: facebook.com/rezivot/posts/this-is-our-mamiya-universal-polaroid-600se-version-of-impossible-project-instan/1161172804031447/

YES! AT-1 buddies! I have found almost no documentation of these beauties, and I reallly like mine. When I first got it, the shutter was dry and wasn’t cons, but I got it fixed! Best part is, it was my great grandfather’s old film camera! Now, I have a flash for it, and I am going to start buying Vision3 in bulk to allow me to shoot more consistently! Also, I didn’t know you could get movie trailers... but I did know you can get the ACTUAL 70mm prints from Interstellar! Here is a picture: ibb.co/C0jdqNG
