Any grip on the P90 is cursed in my eyes. Also, one of the biggest advantage is 150 rounds of ammo without any carrier, allowing you to cut down on quite a bit of weight.

I've been looking forward to this video and updated, not for the guns I don't really use smgs that much (at least it's not new rifles lol) but for the new competitive mode and cool looking cosmetics, I specifically asked for an ammo belt cosmetic on the survey and they put it in the game

I still remember sitting there going 'wtf, WHY?' on hearing that these two were going to advisor class. I can't think o a single convincing argument for these guns being on advisor. If anything, they should swap them with the Val and Badger. Congrats, you now have the rifle calibers out of the breacher class, which iirc was why they moved the 74U off of breacher. This also lets them give the VAL the stopping power it SHOULD have, versus the nonsense firerate it uses in-game to make up for the fact that the devs made 9x39 weaker than 9x18.

Simple, they are exotic weapons, which is kind of the whole point of the Advisor class. I think it's almost purely theme-based and possibly to give more variety to this class while also giving it new content.

@@DivingHawker 'they are exotic weapons'? My dude, wtf is the QTS, AS VAL, and DOZENS OF OTHER exotic rifles that fit better with the 'exotic' aspect of the advisor class, doing on other roles then? If you are going to go with a 'theme' it NEEDS to be consistent, and Sandstorm totally lacks that lately. They've even explicitly made changes to weapon availability specifically to keep weapons separated by role use in the past. The one argument I see keep popping up for the P90 that really ticks me off is people arguing 'well it's a pdw not an SMG so it doesn't belong on breacher' as if ignoring that the honey badger is in a rifle caliber, the VAL is in a rifle caliber, and the MP7 is literally in THE competing pdw caliber from the development time of P90. 'exotic' isn't a requirement to base around a class's weapons. Prior to this update, Advisor has consisted of specialist automatic rifles and the SKS. Soecial purpose carbines and multirole battle rifles.

@@jtnachos16 I definitely agree with you on the exotic part of many weapons. I'm just trying to understand why they did that. Otherwise, I'm guessing it's to give Advisor some variety.

Does aiming grip really worth it? It only speeds up your aiming a little bit when you are not sprinting, and it cost 3 credits (which is rather expensive). kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZqKZlmd_rs6ImK8

On a more serious note, actually fucking love the P90, the super high magazine capacity is great for engaging multiple targets, making it a great flanker gun as you said, but also combines neatly with the low carry weight, as a carrier isn't all that necessary for it. The biggest issue with the SMG's in my opinion is the low velocity, as the bullet drop makes it nigh impossible to get headshots at medium range, which is pretty much the only way you're gonna kill someone at that distance if they have a rifle. The P90 averts this issue, which is why I run it with a x2 on most maps as you'd be surprised how many cheeky 1 taps you can get up to the ~70 meter hitscan range limit. The Vector's fun if you really wanna hold a tight angle I guess. It's fun, but the horizontal recoil makes it really unreliable at basically anything beyond touching distance.

AIC's mod now has the P90 and Vector so you can play these guns in firefight now, with this mod being used for OCE firefight as well as some of the NA games. Burst Fire is normally really bad, but thing about burst fire is it has reduced recoil between those shots compared to 'manual burst', so on the Vector that 2-shot burst really does feel pretty decent, but when I did that I just felt like I should be using an M16, especially with how hard it is to switch from burst to full auto and back. P90 just felt like an MP5 to me. Slightly bigger clip, it's nice enough on Insurgent since their guns are generally pretty bad. Vector felt ok, but it's competing with some absolute beasts in Sec with the MP7, Honey Badger and MK18, and 35 bullets at best makes it rough to use with that rate of fire. I'd have to play with it more to know if I'd want it over the MP7, but if you're taking even a quarter second to confirm you've definitely killed that guy the vector has like 2 kills in it a clip. That's rough.

Yeah I think burst might be the play for vector given the accuracy of it. Still gonna full auto mag dump tho lmao. I'm gonna go on record and say I don't like the mp7 much lol. Honey Badger does its job well tho.

@@globbb11 I mean the MP7 is just a worse AS VAL. Similar damage, but the val is a laser beam at range (as long as you can predict where the enemy will be in the next 3-5 business days). It's louder, but has a bit more kills to the clip than the VAL.

I exclusively use burst on the vector, it's just soo great. Even at close range, the burst is amazing. Plus i got some nice close/far kills on burst

Great vid man , catch you on you stream ❤️👍 Since I’m still waiting for a console release date , did they fix the recoil on the vector? I saw in the cte that the recoil reduction seem to pull the weapon down to the left

I don't know about anyone else, but the player model C-clamping (the way in which they're gripping with the left hand, for anyone that doesn't know the term) is pretty damn repulsive 🤢 And yes I'm well aware it's a real technique that can be used, but I'd say it's more suited to long-barrel weapon systems, doing it on these short length weapons seems redundant to me (considering you're supposed to have your left arm at almost full extention whe using the technique correctly). Especially when there's a built-in grip with the p90, and with the vector you just don't need to do that at all, either grip the foregrip in-hand or against the magazine housing.

Honestly feel like these should both be Security weapons. Doesn't seem right to consider the P90 an Insurgent weapon, even as a "foreign adviser" being the canonical reason for it being on their side. I think a better alternative to the P90 could've been the Bizon, a Calico, or the Chinese SMG that is a direct blowback operated gun in a chassis similar aesthetically to the Type-95 (forgot its name but it also has a 50 round magazine and a cartridge that can be considered China's answer to FN's 5.7mm cartridge). Those would've also added some new guns to experience since most orher FPS games already feature P90s and Vectors regularly; this would've stood out a bit more.

The QCW-05 would be neat, but you'd get the same damn reeing that people did over the other Chinese guns. Calicos just need more representation in general.

I didn't see people Ree'ing over Chinese guns but that's funny, lol. Calicos look cool and it would be nice to see them more often as the "bad guy" analog for the P90.
