The Japanese "Guide to Regional Plates" Document says: "Longer horizontal NTT plate with it's logo on the left. Found in Niigata, Nagano, Western Fukui and areas under Hokuriku Electric Company." So, it can be found in western Fukui.

Also, page 14 of the document at the end of the Kansai section shows a photo of a very similar pole plate combo to what we had in that round and it's labeled: "an example of a western Fukui Prefecture combination. Both the horizontal NTT Plate and Kansai plate are visible." Huh? Kansai plate in Fukui?

On Japan I saw the kansai plate with the small numbers and that the horizontal plate had an NTT logo on it which made me ignore it because I've learnt on vertical plates they are everywhere in Japan. Turns out on horizontal plates they are only in Hokuriku which I didn't know. GGs though it was a good series

On the Japan round, you have Kansai poletops, but a hokuriku NTT plate, which can only be found in Fukui

Pala should be moved to full time post game interviews it get really hard to listen to his cluelessness after a while lol

I enjoy the dynamic of Rainbolt and Pala, especially as a particularly bad geoguessr player myself. I do agree, though, that Pala does get a bit lost. If he could just get the country right most of the time, then that would be the perfect level for him to be at imo

@@jtg01dfish81yeah this is exactly what I was thinking. maybe if he could explain a really simple meta to recognise a country or at least even the continent lol, and then let trevor take over with more subtle region guessing stuff

It's still as if he's never played a single round of Geoguessr in his life. He's so ignorant it confuses the viewer. He doesn't necessarily need to learn loads of metas or stuff like that, but he needs to understand the game a bit more in order so he can at least either talk accurately on what's going on or know what the right questions to ask Trevor are to get the explanatory info out of him. It probably doesn't pay well enough for him to really give much of a toss though mind.
