this kind way of doing research is mystical，a year later he was awarded Fields Medal for general contrubution in Number theory, what? No Group theory? No Geometry under any topoloy or Hyperbolic mean? Are Juries giddy recently? How general?

Indeed much of his work is number theory or number theory adjacent. It's just that number theory touches on so many fields that it involves a bunch of other techniques! As Neukirch would say, "Number theory is geometry".
