Another “Dear” fittingly described Dimash’s performances like this: "Every time I hear this beautiful man sing, it feels like he punches a hole in my chest and holds my heart in his hands, holding it so gently, until he finishes singing. Then releases it and removes his hand from my chest, and I'm left with an empty, aching feeling which can only be filled by listening to him sing again! That’s why many don’t like Dimash. They don’t want to be made to feel. Everyone around me prefers to have commercial pop that they just listen to in a shallow way, not even caring what lyrics are about. I couldn’t understand why no one I played him to was in the slightest affected by him One Dear wrote that Dimash only connects to souls that are on the same wave length as he is. So now I understand, none of my family think and feel like I do about anything. They don’t don’t want to feel “moved” by anything. It is an absolute privilege to have Dimash reach out and take you into his world and I am so grateful that he has allowed me to be part of it 😍😍🥰🥰

Dimash is to voice what Michelangelo is to art. The world does not have a recorded artist that has ever been as capable in all forms of vocal interpretation. As a Doctor of musical arts and science, it is my humble opinion that Dimash is a gift long-awaited and in need by the world. Aware or not, Dimash is far more than an entertainer, he is a healer for those in desperate need of reconnection. Perfect resonance, perfect balance in an unbalanced world.

I love listening to your comments. Dimash has made me cry more than any other performer…ever. Please listen to Ikanaida(Japanese Jazz Festival), Ave Maria(New Wave), Stranger(also New Wave). As you said, you think you’ve heard everything he can do…but that’s still not the case. Great definition! Many others watch Dimash´s videos and say "Why the audience is not shouting and clapping to death...?" That is how their culture is, they are raised not to display their emotions. The same happens in Russia and Belrus

I think that when Dimash closes his eyes before he begins to sing, he actually somehow steps right into the song, and then as he starts…he gradually draws us in with him, so that his and our experience is being in there and both looking and expressing out the song and our feelings…his feelings become ours as we identify. This is how I feel when I listen mostly to him, occasionally to a few others, and often in Gaither concerts with their very in depth singers, choir, and guests. It is very deep and beautiful. This is sooooo addictive and quite rare.

As always, great reaction and analysis. Dimash's rendition of Lionel Richie’s "Hello" was a guest performance on "I am a Singer 2018"; he was not competing that year. At the end of the second verse, Dimash sang "I love you" in Mandarin ("Wo ai ni") to the Chinese audience, and again in the third verse, adding "I love you" in Kazakh, before whispering "Thank you" in Mandarin at the end. Dimash beautifully incorporates Middle Eastern (Armenian, Turkish, Arabic, Azerbaijanian, Kazakh) runs in the song. His friend, Erlan Bekchurin, did the musical arrangement for this performance, as well as most of his other arrangements. The flute is called a sybyzgy, a traditional Kazakh flute, and precursor to the modern flutes. This is my favorite rendition of the song; even better than the original in my humble opinion.

Gracias por reaccionar a Dimash…….. This performance is the Singer Chinese program in 2018 where Dimash was invited. Using folk arrangements like “Sybyzgi”, beautiful Kazakh wind instrument; Dimash skillfully mixes Eastern and Western styles, a bit of Kazakh folklore in between, creating a unique and mind-blowing ending. The last sentence of the song Dimash says "Wö-ai-ni" is “I love you” in Mandarin, out of respect for China. the phrase that speaks at the end are “Thanks” and “I love you”. At the end crazy high notes A5/D5 for 17 sec. ….saludos desde México….🇲🇽🇰🇿❤️🥰😍

I think you are right! I had a very curious experience when I heard Dimash for the first time. I'm a person with both feet firmly on the ground and I couldn't understand what was happening to me. Shock, anxiety, happiness...It was horrible and glorious at the same time. First later on I realised that I was suffering of so called Florence syndrome (see Wikipedia and others). After that, the anxiety is gone, but the addiction grows with time. One Dear once said that his voice is like coming home. Exactly. Greetings from Finland.

First thing after watching several of your reactions of Dimash I have felt exactly as you, he if a gift and angel sent to make us feel, I can see it in your eyes and body language your mesmerization. I think I disagree with you regarding Asian people, I now believe thanks to Dimash being in Asia, that they are very emotional, very open to the beauty of the the arts. I think the lack of emotion is something we in the West are taught, but its not true. I mean, in China, Dimash has more fans than anywhere else in the world, they love him unreservedly..whereas for example in America, much fewer people acknowlege him as a great artist that can move anyone to tears. I want you to watch these Chinese reactors to Dimash, called The Three Musketeers, they are musicians and singers themselves, but they are definitely nothing like the stereotypical unemotional picture we have of Asians..(please do a reaction to one of their reactions), and they are only one example of what I am saying.
