Это очень близкие по уровню атлеты, но Мартин закончил карьеру в очень плохом состоянии, его камбэки не дали никакого результата и только ухудшили его состояние здоровья. Я считаю его очень сильным и техничным спортсменом, но он слишком сильно себя потратил. Дарио же очень думающий атлет, он часто просчитывал ситуацию и иногда берег себя. Поэтому и завершил карьеру в более хорошей форме и по СВОЕМУ собственному желанию, а не по состоянию здоровья. А теперь бегает марафоны, как конь. Автору большое спасибо за хороший анализ гонок.

@@ubehageligt actually he wasn’t. He lost the majority of races to both. The record between Northug and Sundby in the 2010s was not even close. And yes he has more gold medals, but you can’t judge exclusively based on a few races. This “championship-magic” is just nonsense people believe in. You need to consider the total picture over longer time periods. There were many races when Northug was number 14-20, and the races he won were mostly mass starts. There were veeery few instances where Northug actually beat Sundby by having a higher average speed on course. It almost never happened

@xcskiing_universe you need to be champion to be king of a decade. Sundby won 1 championship... Cologna won 2 just in Sochi. Ohh and 1 thing more, Northug have never been disqualified by breaking doping rules 😉
