Xu (lim) = kd. Is this formula not for working stress method where the stress strain curve is considered from linear portion which uses FOS 3 for concrete and 1.8 for steel? Then the video uses the compression force value as 0.36 fck bf Xu which is derived using LSM method considering partial safety factor 1.5 for concrete and 1.15 for steel. I don't think WSM and LSM can be combined together here.
