Sir at 54:20 in Q71, why can't the answer be the 2nd option? The 2nd option aptly summarises the economic consequences of the great depression.

But the question is strictly about Inter War period and the examiner demands understanding of how Germany emerged to be at forefront while other Europeans were suffering from the consequences of Economic fluctuations because of Great Depression !! Later on Germany under Hitler Goes on showing his aggresive expansionist foreign policy and Western blocs and USA already shocked with depression followed policy of appeasement which was a major consequence of World War 2 !!
