⭐ Analysis of sandwich composites in ACP | ANSYS Tutorial

֍ In this video, we are going to design and analyze a sandwich composite panel using ANSYS Composite PrepPost (ACP). We will go through the complete process of modelling, solving & post-processing.
A sandwich panel is any structure made of three layers: a low-density core, and a thin skin-layer bonded to each side. Sandwich panels are used in applications where a combination of high structural rigidity and low weight is required.
ANSYS Composite PrepPost (ACP) is an add-in to ANSYS Workbench and is integrated with the standard analysis features. As a result, the entire workflow for a composite structure can be completed from design to final production information. ACP provides all necessary functionalities for the analysis of layered composite structures.
Through this tutorial, we will learn how to edit Engineering Data, how to define Fabrics, Stackups and Sub Laminates Properties in ACP, how to create Rosettes, Plies and Oriented Selection Set in ACP. Also, we will see how to set up a combined failure criteria definition, global failure plots and through-the-thickness analysis at a single point (Sampling Point) in ACP. Furthermore, we can learn how to Create Failure Definitions and Failure Plots in ACP.

To be accurate i designed 0/90 woven bamboo mat on solidworks and now i want to attach the mat and the glass fibre rectangle( as shown in this video) together as a composite as i simply cannot put constraints.
