Honestly in terms of critical thinking and creative and innovative ideas , there's still a gap. I would have loved to see the 90b haj support to be set aside as funds for massive cattle ranching projects in the country; 1. To buy/lease land 2. Sink bore holes 3. Build animals pens 4. Build schools and other ancillary services in those ranches 5. Create some recreation facilities 6. Attract other allied services like special grass growers 7. And many others. This fund will be released as very low interest loan to property registered and documented herders, spread Like mortgage for many years And all herders involved are organised into cooperative society for easy management and recovery. This Idea will be followed by law to band open grazing after a period of grace. This will be a multi prong approach to solving our pressing challenges - food and physical security in a sustainable manner.
