Not long ago, Mr Johnson was singing Tinubu's praises on TVC. Now he's talking from both sides pf his mouth. Regardless, these two gentlemen are one of my favorites.

This is the worst administration in the history of Nigeria, this man should just resign because he has nothing to offer. The hardship is just too much. Any government policy that does not reflect positively in the life of her citizens is considered as a very useless policy.

8th January 2023 (a month before the president election & 5 months before Tinubu’s announcement at his inauguration) Channels TV presidential debate anchored by Maupe Ogun Video still on Channels TV KZbin page till date Why fuel subsidy will go IMMEDIATELY if I am elected - Peter Obi Obi revealed this on Sunday alongside his running mate Datti Baba-Ahmed at the Channels Television’s Townhall series on Sunday. Verbatim, peter obi's response to question "Well, they (Buhari's administration - an admittance that Buhari did remove it) have removed it. That's what they have done. But I have got to ASSURE you that it will go IMMEDIATELY “ Subsidy is an organised crime, I CANNOT ALLOW IT TO STAY A DAY LONGER..." “FIRST WE REMOVE IT, secondly, we will deal with the other remaining issue, we need the money to be able to invest in critical social development issues"

The lady that asked the question gave peter obi 100 days grace into his incumbency. Peter obi was unequivocal that he can't allow it to go a day longer. Aka, day one, it's gone. 8th January 2023. Buhari is still very much the president The election has not been conducted. Therefore, tinubu was not the president or declared winner of the election Here is peter obi telling you they (the Buhari's administration) had removed fuel subsidy. This is a bitter truth. It's the truth no matter the quantum of lies curated and purveyed. This will forever stand as the truth of what peter said

The alluded "PROVISION" for subsidy till june 2023 by Buhari was a lie by Buhari. Provision doesn’t mean availability of funds to pay subsidy. Buhari didnt pay nnpc since 2021 for fuel subsidy. Buhari didnt make any funding available to pay subsidy in the 2023 budget he made and signed Buhari signed the 2023 budget not Tinubu. 1st of june 2023 Fuel subsidy not budgeted for in 2023 - Kyari tells APC There was subsidy in 2022 but in 2023, not a single naira was provided for the purpose of financing the subsidy." The Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), Mele Kyari, has said contrary to speculations, the immediate past government of President Muhammadu Buhari did not make provisions for petroleum subsidy in the 2023 budget. He said this on Thursday in Abuja when he met with the Abdullahi Adamu-led APC National Working Committee (NWC) at the party’s national secretariat. “There was subsidy in 2022 but in 2023, not a single naira was provided for the purpose of financing the subsidy. “And ultimately while we held back our fiscal obligations, we still have a net balance of over N2.8 trillion that the federation should have given back to the NNPC. “For any company, when you have negative N2.8 trillion, there is no company in the whole of Africa that will lend to you, you cannot have receivables. “The provision of subsidy is there, but absolutely there is no funding for it,” Mr Kyari said, adding that it was only on paper and does not exist. This, he said, was the true situation of things, adding that the federal government could no longer bear the burden of fuel subsidy. “If we continue, we will run into defaults and the defaults of NNPC is the default of Nigeria. “Once NNPC goes into defaults and liquidity, it affects every borrowing done by the country, even the sub-nationals. Your lenders will come back to you and say your country can no longer pay,” he said.

Seun, When are you bringing back the Minister of Interior to come and explains to Nigerians why he has not delivered the 8th March Promise he solemnly made on your Programme on February 2024 ? Issuance and obtention of Passport is still a Bull Race in Nigeria. If you doubt me, Ask those who applied since February at PORT Harcourt in Rivers State wether they have gotten theirs till date. The Officers at this Processing Centre had been giving the same Excuses till now, There are no Booklets, Materials.... Oga Minister, Where are we ???

The analysts were spot on, on the need for government to cut costs. In fact citizens need to find better ways to harder the officials for prudency. But the analysts are either ignorant or mischievous in their submissions. They are not fair, realistic and not comparing likes with likes. What do you naturally expect when the country is experiencing cash flow deficit and can't longer meet its basic commitments. Hence the options are to remove the huge, dubious and fraudulent subsidies in foreign currency (USD) allocation and PMS fuel. In an economic that is over 90% import dependent? Of course hyperinflation until the fundamentals e. g.huge investments in import substitutes/ diversification of the economy including infrastructural development. The pains were more on us Nigerians also due to historical injustices on the vulnerable by the ruling class. Most of these analysts are the agents of this ruling class so are blinded and biased so can't be taken seriously most of the time otherwise they dampen already low spirits of Nigerians and use Nigerians as stepping stones to rotate power among themselves.
