Yeah, those talking heads are not trying to make sober, balanced opinions. They need to generate views and saying something outrageous like oh, he is trash or oh, he is the future MVP is what gets views and generates interest and THEN they get paid. But, there are a lot of fan channels that do offer good analysis and opinions like Locked on Knicks and a few more. And, fans were generally happy with signing Brunson. Fans knew how he lead Mavs in the playoffs and played when Luka was out. The main issue was that some thought we might've overpaid $2-5 million per year on him. Obviously, not many thought he would be that good for us. The expectation was that he would be kind of a 20 points 5-6 assist guy and a 2nd or 3rd option. He is proven he can be #1 option and a contender if everyone else is healthy for us.
