Yep same. I play singles and with a Keyboard. On character select I hit the random button and hold the start button before I can even see the character it selected. I might have a 40% win rate but my skills are improving a lot using all kinds of different characters facing off against some tough characters. I also try to always rematch too btw

@@Big_Bonfirelol a friend of mine has 71% win rate and he’s got 60 hours, me with 2 only played at his house and I can keep up with him, I did only the tutorial, I think a lot of this community are casuals who play max 2 genres or 35/40/50 year olds who like DB but never played anything more difficult, like I would put this game in the same difficulty tier as Top Spin, in 100 hours you become a god, even mastering Dirt Rally 2.0 with a wheel is more difficult, let alone games like Richard Burns Rally and especially Rocket League and others, where even 1000 hours are nothing, with 3000/4000 hours at GC3/SSL you get good, more or less.

I REALLY enjoy these types of videos. Watching you and learning what you're doing is one thing, but to hear your throught process, having the knowledge that leads you to do certain things explained, it's so much more valuable for someone trying to improve. I never would've realised that the type of perception attack your character has could affect how well they do against Afterimage Strike, which is my biggest hurdle in climbing ranked. Unfortunately I play Single as Super Broly so I can't exactly use that info but I am glad I know it now regardless. That's not to say I dislike the straight-up gameplay, just that these sorts of videos are a lovely treat.

@@alwuhugaming Quick question, when you're countering wild sense and you say to vanish it, which form of vanish? I know you can vanish during your combos by holding block and moving to vanish around your opponent, but there's also just tapping the block button just before you get hit, and there's also vanish strike, when you hit X and A (xbox, standard) at the same time. Just wondering which one you're referring to.
@alwuhugaming
@alwuhugaming 3 ай бұрын
@@JakeIGuessyes do the vanish that you can do to follow up in a combo string. Vanishing the wild sense attack itself is very difficult cuz it’s a very tight frame window. It’s more of a dodge using your vanish than actually vanishing the wild sense. Maybe I should’ve clarified that more. Great question from you
@JakeIGuess
@JakeIGuess 3 ай бұрын
Got it! Also, currently watching the video in bed, the match at around 30 minutes that you theorise your opponent is magicking, it’s worth considering that he picked hyperbolic time chamber in the previous match when he ragequit so it’s probably his PC is just running like ass. There’s two types of lag that plague these anime fighters; connection lag and framerate lag. When your opponent has a bad connection, your inputs are delayed and the match will pause intermittently for like a second or two. But when your opponent has a bad framerate it means they literally cannot run the game at the 60fps minimum and since there’s no frame skipping for them to keep them in pace with your game, it means your game will slow down so their game can keep up. I _think_ the game shows you in the bottom right which type of lag is being experienced. The WiFi symbol is the connection, whereas the bars are the performance. I could be wrong about that, but any time my opponent’s game is running like ass, the bars in the right always turn red.

I use vanishing assault to escape from Brawler Grabs, so like Reccoome, Broly’s, Spopovich, etc. especially if I’m guarding/perceptioning, it’s usually pretty tough to side dodge from guard, despite the grabs being slower but they’re easy to see because of the dark flash around the screen, so it’s an easy ‘vanish’ for me, and oftentimes it’s saved me from a grab into ult ‘combo’. I agree that it’s a poor ability for aggressive attacks, but decent utility for defence. I might start vanish assaulting charged heavies to save skill points.

For a media that one of the key biggest thing of the Turtle school is to go through life with a hunger to learn and improve. That means yes. You will *lose*. It is okay to lose. It is through loss one learns because you can see flaws that can be improved. Without defeat, you will end up as Vegeta was; so confident and so far in his own head that he cannot conceptualize there can be improvement.

When during your 3rd match with the first person you said how they could do so much more with wild sense I realized you used your wild sense after switching in Zarbon, then you finished off their Gohan, grabbed and knocked back Bardock. And when they charged at you your wild sense was triggered but because you knew it was still up you could afford charging a lot of ki there.I started recording my gameplay simply for that reason, to analyze it while not being focused on playing so I can learn to keep an eye out for stuff like that.

Bro I wish they would implement a few basic things, 1st if someone rage quits or loses connection then other player should get points as if it was a win, or even half or 3/4 the points a win would get. Second have a concede match feature so ppl can just end the match if they are getting destroyed and don’t have to play it out further. 3rd if you rage quite X amount of times in a X time period then you can’t que up for ranked for a time period just like rainbow 6 siege and other games, these 3 changes would make a ton of difference

Ive been saying explosive wave and its equivalents like Android Barrier and Tapions Flute are underrated. They are basically super counter but can be used anytime as long as you have the skill points. One thing I learn about explosive wave if timed correct you can stop rush supers once they make contact with the wave they will get hit and knock back. However it is better to dodge or vanish.

Yeah I agree with better to just dodge and vanish but having that extra emergency tool being a barrier is sooo strong

66% win rate out of 346 matches, I used to ragequit to get out of B5-4 but when skill actually really mattered I stopped and tried to figure out why I was losing. I feel bad about it, but at-least my match completion rate is still "high". *edit A1 now, beat a Z rank in a casual room. Biggest tip: If you see someone disappear 9/10 odds stop pressing buttons until you see them reappear then immediately use ki blasts or block.

This is really great! I’m not finished with the video yet, but I’m wondering if you’ve found a way to deal with instant sparking, and in particular those who use strong characters to lock people into eating an ult with ki spam. Y’know like a Z Broly or Max Power Jiren. I’m not sure about Jiren, but I know for a fact that Broly doesn’t get hitstunned out of instant spark with normal ki blasts, and if he gets it off, it’s practically impossible for me to do anything about it.

If I have someone with explosive wave, I’ll use explosive wave when they get close to me and I’ll dash away/up/down. I know some people use revenge counter as well in that situation but I’m unsure of the ins and outs of it. I’ve seen other creators do the revenge counter method though

This is what I was looking for. I was wondering if skill can actually be used in this game. So many videos of people, including dbz KZbinrs I like, playing the game almost the same way. A lot of charging, supers, mindless counter, and sense I don't have the game I'm sitting there going "this kinda looks dumb." Charge into raw ult/super and it works 50% of the time then do it again till you win. Then finally this video proves it all wrong.

@@lupylave415 yeah there’s this weird idea going around that this game takes no skill and doesn’t have any concepts from traditional fighting games. The reason why I was able to rank up so easily is because I’ve played traditional fighters and applied the same mental concepts
