You can be talented in playing in fights and such which is great but that doesn’t always necessarily win the game. Essence Reaver into Manamune does more damage than Duskblade second item once it turns into Muramana. Once it does, the shock passive (which has no cooldown btw as opposed to the 15 second cooldown on Duskblade's Nightstalker passive) on top of the massive amount of AD that it gives you makes your Q hit harder despite not having any lethality/armor pen. It also makes your other abilities hurt more because of the fact that you have more AD and that the lethality on Duskblade wouldn't amplify their damage.
