I recently switched to dp battles and am only in like low-mid C atm. Got stuck in low B on singles. Been using your tips for dp and my win rate in dp is insanely higher right now compare to my singles. Partially from a lower amount of cheese but the tips are very helpful. This is the first fighting game I’ve ever stuck with and the first Dbz I’ve played since I think tenkaichi 3 on ps2

broly seems to do fine as a brawler(mid team) or even an anchor. I haven't played much super broly but he did fantastic as my switch in for zend goku.

also if you play with items you can really make broly strong with extra ki on spawn and the one that makes transformations one point cheaper. I love doing grapple super combos with super broly, they don't do the most damage but man is it lore accurate.

yo, I give you a nice tip, to practice much better the timing of the supercounter (or Z counter with UP + X), go to training mode and set the opponent strategy setting in Smashes & Counters If you master this mechanic you will win most vanish battles since when you have less ki you will be able to do a sequence of supercounters (or Z counters) and you will gain ki to do the vanish battle, good luck

Man, it's funny how obvious the difference is between a good player using a good character and a mid player being carried by a good character. Last time I watched you fight Androids they were so predictable, always grabbing, very little variance in their playstyle, just using the simple easy strategy. But this guy has the moves, he's taking advantage of what the Androids have to offer and still utilizing everything he has in his arsenal. You can tell he'd do fine with other characters, this man is certified cheese-free.

One tip I have for going against Androids is if you can keep your distance from them when they’re at low ki, they struggle to catch up to you. Other characters can charge or use skills when you make distance, but Androids have to be aggressive to gain ki, and when they do its at a HUGE rate. Sometimes playing for distance can be a better choice

Yeah i notice in dp battles im s4, i been seeing A LOT of adult gohan(probably cause of you XD) and starting to see more usage of androids either its 19/20 or android 18 mainly among the s and z rankers. androids are also strong on single battles especially android 17 super, for the same reason. You always get more ki and you force vanish wars. Unless your opps is a master at super counter vanish atks then you will always win them as android.

I ran Broly (Z), Broly (Super), and Broly (Girl) for a while, which is a pretty good team for a 3 man, since they all do insane damage, and while with Z Broly and Kale you want to rush to your transformation as soon as it's safe, you really gotta play with Base and SSJ Broly, they've got a good kit in each form, with Base's grab Super and full-power charge, SSJ'S ult which for some reason ignores Afterimage abilities, and Legendary's Raw Damage and Super Explosive wave (though his ult is very easy to vanish in LSSJ). With Super Broly you gotta transform to suit the situation, instead of trying to get to max ASAP.

DP actually requires you to use all the mechanics in the game, resource management and decision making. Singles is just a DPS race, its not really serious. I personally see singles as the "cadual queue".

Maybe a good way to charge against aggressive andriods is every gut punch , trip , or any stun u charge for a sec before continuing the combo . Ive done it before just to prove to myself i can charge during a gut punch for extra ki but stopped doing it for cleaner combos 🤔

Dont lose faith on Super Broly, he does well against Android meta cause of full power charge and his untechable grab that ends in a smash is a good way to use charge + burst dash all in same combo. You can set up the grab after a gut punch and there is little they can do. Characters with wild sense are also good against androids cause after a wild sense you can charge ki. Against android we gotta give away pressure to charge ki sometimes unfortunately. Androids advantage is that they dont have do charge ki, but Androids disadvantage is that they cant charge ki if they wanted. So when you manage to have a big ki advantage they are screwed. Good anti android team would be Super Broly base, Adult Gohan SSJ, and whoever else has full power charge or wild sense, or fck it, S Broly, SSJ A Gohan and sneak an Android in there lmao
