@ there’s an option to play with or without items. The without items is what I’m playing and what most people play. There is a glitch where some items work despite choosing to play without items. One of the items is the spawn in with full ki gauge item

This is the most satisfying win yet. You have more patience than me, I would've been gone after the first set of ki blast spams LOL. Also, this highlights how broken the switch and heal mechanic is, with low DP characters especially. I think they should really do something about that.

I think the switching and healing is good cuz it dissuades playstyles like my opponent in this video. My health management highlights how important it is to not let me switch. How he just sat there and decided to charge to sparking mode instead of finishing my Dodoria is his fault. Had I not beeen able to switch, I’d have lost and thus this game would feel even cheesier. Switching incentivizes aggressive gameplay and not just sitting back and spamming ki blasts. Although this is not to say it shouldn’t be tweaked at all.

@@alwuhugaming Yes, I definitely don't condone the ki blast playstyle because of how toxic and cheesy it is and I think health management and switching to an extent is good for the game because it adds more depth and strategy, especially to counter these players. But as far as I can tell, multiple characters can heal a bar at most at the same time when swapped out and could do so an infinite amount of times. Games get drawn out to the timer without a clear winner.

@@Lagustful 100% agreed. 10k health is too much health regen. especially since it can be done over and over again (which is what I did to overcome this guy lol). If they don’t wanna tweak that, they gotta make the games like 10 mins long… but even that won’t be enough a lot of times hahah. Best to make the regen like 7,500 at MOST.

I did my first DP battles yesterday, I have yet to master the switch mechanic. Idk if it is my gamepad but the emote menu opens when I send someone flying. Maybe I have a delay between both button pushes. But it is fun because my opponents did not switch, so it was a really easy thing to win. I had a 5 man team (Android 19, Teen Gohan Base, Recoome, Spopovich and Videl) and my opponents had like 3 characters tops in their teams. They also transformed despite only having one or 2 healthbars left so I could keep pounding them. I still have to practice combos and defensive mechanics a lot though, despite me switching characters out I had my Teen Gohan defeated both matches and did not do as much dmg as I would want to. Your videos help a lot though, especially the character spotlights where I basically learned that doing a Y attack after certain amounts of X attacks is different for characters. Some have a gut punch, other flying kicks/punches, then sweep and that kicking in the sky stuff, turning around the opponent etc. I think if I take the time and practice to control that rather than mash and switch between X and Y randomly, I can become way better

In defense of the full Ki gauage exploit, Id like to label it more as a bug but it is an exploit when being utsed in this way, some of us players queue for "Auto" rather than off/on for Capsule items and in my defense I use that full Ki gauage on my Frieza for the battles that would be Capsule on. Some of us aren't intentionally exploiting is what I am trying to say, but this guy was clearly not one of those people. Just a thought I wanted to share. Great content as always man, you've become one of my favorite Sparking Zero Teachers with your Character spotlights. Would love to see more Combat/Combo Tutorials in the future

Man I'm like Top 200 in singles and Top 400 in DP globally in PC and I still learn things from ur vids, ur gameplay is definitely very solid and ur prolly the best DP player I've seen so far in YT, cheers to that. On the topic of items, so far I've tested some items (I wanna test some more to see which ones take effect in online or not) and the most apparent ones are the full ki gauge and 1 extra skill point (notice Wheelo comes up with 2 skill points instead of 1 as he normally does). Hope this is fixed ASAP, since 80% of the playerbase up there is just abusing everything they can, and giving them an edge with items on top of that is just obnoxious. Keep on the vids brother!!

Hey man idk if you already covered this in a video but a good way to survive giant sparking dash cheese, you simply have to get to the height limit of the map. They won’t be able to dash at you anymore and will globally struggle to hit you since they’re so big! Hope this helps 👍🏼

i will give you a secret tip. If you fly all the way up, dr willow cant charge at you. Once you're there, you can just keep dodging his nornals, and flying away , side steping or just punching him smartly

This isn't entirely correct - If the giant player goes down he can dash into you for the damage. The ceiling trick only works if the giant player stay on the ceiling as well.

Only one J really want on that team is 18 as she unexpectedly became my main for singles Edit: also would prefer Raditz but that's just because he's my favorite db character

@@AlchemistDot i think the most meta team out of those characters and considering your favorites would be S Base Broly (5), Android 18 (5), Raditz (3), Saibamen (2). The team can work if you manage to transform to Berserker Broly as he has the instant ulti and massive damage to overcome a the character disadvantage. 18 with her barrier and ki gain is massive too. Raditz can be an ulti spammer and Saibamen can be the one who buys time while your team rests

You often say that its good when players make you change your playstyle, but the Android grab spamming and Giants force you to play a game that is not interesting, its tedious. this game contains 185 million characters 5 of which are giants and they're play with or against them is just annoying. I dont respect people who use giant characters because they are not playing the game to have fun, they are just playing to win some meaningless rank. The rank system is in place so low level players do not come cross high level players. To me, rank is truly meaningless, that's why I never rage quit or use any exploits to get to the higher ranks, I just want to play against people my level. but unfortunately, I am stuck in a lower rank having to deal with cheesy players who are not only bad but also rage quit when you get the upper hand.

Yes I said it’s good to make someone change their playstyle from conditioning them. Giants and Androids and certain skills inherently needing to make one change their playstyle is not what I said is good. I was simply explaining that’s exactly what makes them so strong. That they come in with a built in mechanic that the opponent is preconditioned to.
