After SEVERAL resets to get the starting order right, finally I was able to get the Runelord job today! Thank you so much for this setup. I had to do a lot of job points grinding for some of the ultimate skills though but now I can finally have my Runelord Tressa yay!

Did it in 6 turns using Cyrus and Primrose mainly for overpowering dark atks. What you need alone is sorcerer and just a constant flow of BP to Cyrus. First try done in 4 minutes tops GG.

id sat tressa is the best for runelord because you can spam transfer-rune and side step then your party is unkillable.(transfer-rune is a spell that that makes self targeting skill affect the whole party EX:side step, and abide) also the rune damage is based on the users magic

If you're fast enough you can break him before he locks his weaknesses and he won't have any defenses for most of the fight if you have a sorcerer

Im back, won the fight too thanks for the help. Runeblade is awesome with Tressa, Sidestep and rest with transfer rune is great. Rest helped me keep up Cyrus's SP up so he could use the sorcerers skills and with Ophilias Divine skill which makes skills activate twice. Cyrus ends up dealing 6 attacks at once! Winnehild Warbringer will fall to her knees!

I'm on my second playthrough and after 4 tries getting destroyed by runestorm when he only had like 10-15% left... I finally beat him with this strategy. I still have no idea how the hell did I win the first time. His second phase is absolute bullshit. The rest of the advanced job bosses were a cakewalk in comparison.

i used Cyrus as a sorcerer, Ophilia as starseer, Therion as a merchant and lastly Hannit as a Dancer. u just need to first over heal everyone. then use the leghold trap on boss and keep buffing Cyrus with every buffs u have. use the merchant to debuff the boss. and lastly keep boosting BP to Cyrus with the Starseer's BP boost and the merchant's BP boost skill. and then yeah u are good to go. it was an easy fight for me with this team (; so yeah try it out

The strategy i used was: cyrus as a sorcerer becuse of tenebrae operiere and alephan. I had primrose as a warrrior foe brands thunder. I had therion as a apothecary because he can use an axe an i had Ophillia as stareer for bp boost i also had sp saver elemental aid surpassing power and elemental augmentation on Cyrus.

This was the first advanced job I got. All characters were level 50 or lower. Alfyn and H’aanit had accessories that prevented sleep and unconsciousness, Ophilia had one that prevented sleep, Tressa didn’t need any since I planned on making her sidestep a lot. Theif/H’aanit patience + debuffing attack, leghold trap, stealing SP + arrow skills Warrior/Tressa try to have a shit ton of side steps and intice when you need to Merchant/Alfyn for concocting BP, empoison, revive Dancer/Ohiplia tried to use celric divine skill on H’aanit as much as possible for phase two . Plus she got 9999HP from olive (L) her passive skill that lets her get extra HP. (Was a nice surprise lol)

for me the hardest was Balogar cause the status effect. first phase is easy but when he get serious (boosted and attacking in AOE with sleep and confusion status) he wiped me out in two turn it take me 3 time to beat him

So That's how you do it! LOL. I've beaten my head against this boss three times today. Got them in the red twice but then I get the whole group knocked out by an ailment followed by a triple AOE attack and I get wiped. That said I don't have any secret jobs yet but I think it's doable if I can set up reflect across the board. Cover me, I'm going back in...

Although this seems like a good strat, I found Cleric with Saving Grace on all, a hunter/ thief, Cyrus and Olberic. I only realized after beating Alfyn's final chapter I could take out of the party. Minor spoilers I guess?

For anyone having trouble with any of these job bosses: equip saving grace, resist ailments, patience and second wind on every character and run ophilia apothecary with +50 sp accessories and you cannot die. I beat all the shrines with this setup from lv 38 to 43. Rest of team: haanit warrior, cyrus dancer, and therion merchant

Just wanted to say thanks for your comment. I had same party setup as you but ophilia as dancer and Cyrus as apoth, I changed them to how you did it with same support skills and finally beat runelord after 5 failed attempts. Thanks dude!

I started those fights at lv 38 and finished the last one around 43. The class changes benefited the characters at the time. +50 sp means item accessories that added 50 mana to the characters to make it easier to maintain using abilities without having to use turns to restore.

Thanks for this video! It really helped. Is Starseer w/Shooting Stars on Cyrus that important to do that much damage? I followed everything in this video precisely except I have Cyrus as a sorcerer. The highest I outputted was 9000 damage per hit. So it just took me a few extra rounds to beat this boss. I'm now on my way to get my revenge on Steorra the Starseer.

I don’t think it matters too much, more so your Elem Atk stat will be doing majority of the damage. Element is purely for weaknesses.

What I ended up doing was spamming Sealticge’ Seduction on Ophilia, and had her cast a max Starsong, then had Primrose cast Sealticge on herself so that she could cast max max rehabilitate.

I almost beat this boss until at yellow HP he used 2 Runestorms on my team. I managed to get him to yellow HP with spamming items and some burst damage by doing the empoison, armor corrosive, attack boost thing over and over, but he killed me :( Edit: My characters were not lvl 40 yet, so probably that's why. Edit 2: So, I got starseer and sorcerer due to the guides he gave me. So, I want to give a little guide for people with extra JP for a starseer class that'll help you do this boss easier. If you learn Moon's Reflection on your Starseer along with Reflective Veil, it's basically what you've done with the other 2 bosses. Welcome :D

My party is Therion (Main) / Hunter Cyrus / Sorcerer Olberic / Cleric Primrose/Starseer As usual, I leghold trap using therion, 4x boosted heal more + saving grace. Then I also used dancer divine + reflective veil for the boss' shooting star. Then get peacock strut + aelfric's auspices + alephan enlightenment on cyrus and spell the shit out of him. And when the HP turn red he attack me and all except therion fell asleep. I have to revive them 1by1. The last turn therion and primrose is dead. Aelfric's auspices on cyrus and spell him again. At last that bitchlogar turned into dust.

@@AnamanaCh i know this is a extremely old comment but i managed to defeat the archmagus shrine boss without taking damage once with this set up open the battle by breaking the boss before he can move (should be simple enough he only starts with 5 shields) use concoct to give your entire party+2BP cast Sealticge's Seduction on your cleric full boost reflective viel maintain reflective viels on your entire party for the rest of the fight and laugh as the boss hits himself (likely also breaking himself) 12 times every time he dares to attack you enjoy your free damageless advanced job shrine boss kill Note:you can also use this strategy against the starseer shrine boss though one of her kills can cancel out reflective viel if she actually uses it

Good guide, but for me, my cyrrus only has arround 347 elem atk, before weapons, how does yours have 600+? My hits barely make 11k with strut and debuff on the boss... 2 levels difference on cyrrus shouldnt be that much?

That would work, you can always guide the Luckless Sellsword too. But, this guide is not a 100% of what you have to do. I'm sure you could make it work with other characters.

I'm halfway done with all the chapter 2s and have not done the chapter 3s yet, I already beat the sorcerer and the starseer, if I get the runelord and warmaster now will it trivialize the rest of the game? Should I wait for a lil longer to try and get the last two jobs until I've gotten farther in the game?

No, none of these classes will, the game expects you to be good after this point and will wipe the floor with you if you haven't gotten with the program. 😅

All these hidden shrine videos show off a strategy in which the player already has another hidden shrine or 2 unlocked. I'm looking for a guide on how to beat these shrines WITHOUT having an advanced job. Other way round. Transfer Rune applies buffs to all instead of one. I’d suggest Tressa over both of them for Runelord. Sidestep is god tier.

Definitely hardest fight I’ve had so far but went in blind and beat it first try. Fought him with Thief Tressa, Apothecary Olberic, Cleric Alfyn, and Hunter Therion at lv47. Shackled and Legholded as much as I can. Hired Help with the AOE def boost was also a huge help. But rehabilitate and Alfyn was the MVP.

This boss is really hard. I think Starseer and Sorcerer of which both were easy with Dancer Devine plus Cleric Reflect. I don't understand this boss. Reflect from Cleric doesn't work and the one from Starseer doesn't either. If you can't beat the boss super fast how the heck can you do it?

Well, they don't use spells like those bosses, so that strategy is automatically useless.

Anamana! In the end I actually beat this. I used Cleric Devine on my Sorcerer and used Arrow Storm to break the boss super fast. I also used Hunters trap to keep the boss going last. Finally I made sure all my characters were over healed so they could all survive a round. It took a little while but it worked.

My husband followed your plan to the letter, he said he never got the boost you showed for shooting stars after using the divine from scholar and cleric. Barely a 1,000 hit points. And Balogar blocked weapons including arrows so the skill from thief didn’t work either. Maybe you need a new video!
