Build two bases. The exterior ones are from the decoy base and the interior ones are from another decoy base. Make them large enough that the few raids that happen dont give them any return on the expense.

I enjoy the adventures. There's a lot that can happen in DayZ. I always create my own fun, make a goal or something to work on in game. Not just pvp. After years and years of playing this game, i take breaks playing, yet it always calls me back. It has a special something no other game has.

One of my buddy’s creates alot of his own dayz mods and runs his own server called Gen Z. I have been playing ungodly amount of time on it. DayZ is a gift that keeps on giving tbh

Recently had a huge issue with hackers on vanilla and it really dropped our groups morale. We spent nearly 115 hours building a base that got raided in about an hour by hackers that were shooting us as soon as we respawned or got anywhere near the town we were building. They took all our most valuable stuff and glitched our things through the wall and floors. Gonna play on community servers from this point forward i think :/

Be nice if when people figured out where you base was, there would just leave a note. It be like GeoGuessr or the irl Geocache. Once saw I dude on a motorbike looking sus. he was looking under a horse water trough we have in front of our Police Museum and reach under, found a thing and wrote a little note and put it back. My brain was too intrigued . We spoke, and then I showed him a hidden Cache the secure Court House carpark that use to open to walking in. He was pretty stoked. Don't know why I telling you all this. lol. Have you ever played GeoGuesser?

You can't stealth attack while wearing boots..... Trail shoes are the closest boot like footwear that still allows stealth attacks.

For sure recommend not doing a base reveal unless you plan on being online 24/7 to defend it. It will for sure be raided.
