It’s a mix of both! The instructor teaches really well! Look into it :) for esthetician! Go for it!

I work at a dental office and recently just woke up one day and was like you know I’m going to do what I love which is beauty!! I want to start the process but idk where and how 😩 what do you recommend ? What’s the difference between esthetician license vs cosmetologist license?? Or are they the same thing lol. Also what jobs do you get with this license ? And do you know the salary ranges ??? Thank you ☺️☺️☺️

Esthetician deals with skin so that and cosmetology is the same but different as well. Cosmetology deals more with hair. You can look up schools in your area and salary depending on your state

Yes! Definitely look into it! Esthetician is more of facials, skin, makeup, lashes and waxing! Cosmetology is hair, nails and all. I don’t know the salary ranges because it varies

Cosmetologist here! As a cosmetologist, we are technically licensed in hair, esthetics, and nails BUT the main focus is on hair. It doesn’t really dive deep into the skin. That’s actually why I’m going back to school for esthetics. I know enough about the skin to get by but not enough to customize my services such as facials to the needs of my clients skin. Hope this helped!!
