Haven't started esthetician school yet I know thats what I love. I'm working two jobs right now slowly buying equipment while living with my parents and not having to pay so much rent. Stay in Cali! Chances are you're leaving to satisfy your man and he should put you first. California has the best esthetician schools and grants. North Carolina is a jacked up state. Once you leave Cali, I guarantee your boyfriend will change and not for the best. Finish school here first, then think about leaving with certification and you're almost guaranteed to make plenty on money to not depend on a man. Also, statistics and facts are that when a woman moves out of state with a man and have nothing concrete financially, they often live a lie of a life for many reasons. First is woman feel too ashamed of failing and don't want to be embarrassed to come back a show that they failed so they end up staying in a unstable abusive relationship. Second is that woman can't leave the relationship because they don't have funds to move back. Trust me, I'm a man and I know what men are capable of. As I tell my daughters, there's no place like home. Do research ahead of time. Get into school before leaving. Call any company your heart desires to work at beforehand and tell them you're moving there from California and you'd like to setup and over the phone interview. Be in control of how much you want to make. Tell them you're a quick learner and you'd like a performance review and raise within 3 months. I wish you think about your move and pray before leaving. You could be making a huge mistake. There's no place like Cali and home. Free room and board and good home cooked meals. If you haven't watched the original wizard of Oz, I recommend watching it. Good luck and we all wish you the best. If shit gets tough, you can call your parents or me anytime day or night. Your parents would always want you to call them for anything. Trust me.

Hi!! I just found your channel today and I couldn’t be happier about it. I just got my esthetician license in October and I’m struggling to hear back from jobs. Ideally, I would LOVE to work for myself. But my family keeps telling me I should start by working somewhere to get some experience and the feel for working for a business (which I might still do) but I just know I would LOVE to have control and have my own suite like you (I can also imagine how much work it is, but it’s something I would be so passionate about) I also got certified in laser but obviously cannot use laser without doctor supervision. I’m struggling trying to find myself in this industry. I wanted to go the medical route (hence the laser) but I feel like with the help of social media I could really make my own business happen for me and go that route instead. Any words of advice? I can’t wait to watch all of your other videos! ❤️

Hiii so great to hear your story!!! What i will say to you is DONT GIVE UP!! You will find your particular style or niche in this beauty business as long as you stay passionate and really love this profession. You can definitely make doing it on your own your outcome however if you absolutely need to go work for someone until you can save enough to do it on your own then by all means go that route!!! Either way you will be doing what you love and it will motivate you to finally do it on your own and progress. Hope this helps 💕

Market yourself as an esty student looking to build your portfolio so put out posts saying you are looking for models (charge model fees like $25,$40) take a ton of pictures of your work and use for your page. 🤎
