First saw this amazing woman opening for Steven Stills at the Auditorium Theater in Chicago 1974. Last saw her in 2006 with my father who was a huge jazz fan and was all about the Peggy Lee. aspect. Thanks to Maria for giving us that. My 18 year old self would have never imagined. Near the end, he had Parkinson's and dementia but we always made that connection through music.
