very clever good works this tricks I didn’t knows about it I tried to turn HDMI cable by strip them apart to fine a video and sound between left&right channel it work for a video but I couldn’t workout the rest of the wire for the sound I test the resistance each wire it been made with high resistance it won’t works at all if it connected to a video or a TV the RCA cables there is no resistance at all it run free I works it out the HDMI cable it need a video amplifier with it no video no sound nothing works

Im tring to use a hdmi devices on an old proj with dvi and want to pull off audio, Im intrested in trying this out im sure i have enough scrap componets around, what are the actual specs on the parts you are using and could you share a diagram?

That;s why my cable hdmi-rca doesn’t work! It need a synchronizer, capacitor and resistance…I’m wondering why they sell it if it miss all these components

Not all hdmi cables wires are the same. I teared one i found them all the same colour..i mean those ones covered
