I never can manage not to shed some tears when I listen to this performance, it just moves me each time. No other singer that I know of can manage such rich and soulful both high tones AND low tones alike; and no note is ever left without color and strength. He adds a beautiful sonority to the performance, too, I agree with your remarks.

I loved Anastacia growing up, absolutely blasting her album singing along at the top of my voice. Beautiful lyrics too for a lot of her songs. She's got some great boppy songs too, makes you feel like you're on top of a mountain and winning at life while singing along to her songs :).

Anastacia and I used to be close from 2003-2018. Although we never met, we used to speak by phone sometimes several times a day as my former wife used to be her best friend and sound person. Ana is HUGE everywhere but the U.S. and is close personal friends with the likes of Elton John, Sharon Osbourne and even Michael Jackson back in the day. Unfortunately, we had a BAD falling out and haven't spoken in two years. I still enjoy her music, however, and have only recently began following her again even though I don't anticipate that we will ever speak again.
