I think she deserves to be better recognized and respected by the American mainstream, because she has always had all the attributes of a complete and professional singer that contribute to her success in both sales and charts. I believe that the problem that hindered her in the US was the record label, and many successful artists in the US have faced problems with the usual record labels, to the point of having to found their own record labels and only make a distribution agreement for their catalogs with the big record companies, or having to fight for the rights to the masters, because in this American music industry, there is a lot of rivalry, mafia, manipulation, sabotage, boycotts, injustices and fraud. And perhaps Anastacia's career in the US was yet another victim of these evil music industry bosses.
