Hi Tania, can you please do a video showing how to create eye shadow looks with someone with smaller lid space? I don’t have a lot of “real estate” on my eye lids so I was looking for techniques to make my eyes lids look bigger. Also, if you could suggest colors for hazel/light brown eyes, that would be a bonus!

This palette surprised me. It’s much less pinky toned than I thought. This palette is not Christmas which is good. I think this palette can be used year round. All of your looks are really pretty. I would consider buying this palette. I have this problem with holiday releases, what do I buy? 😂

i was happy when you said “curious to see how it looks on deeper skin tones” idk why. some creators just don’t mention it since they’re lighter and it will work for them no matter what. some brands really don’t cater to dark skin tones with new releases or in general

I am hoping more and more brands and creators think of that! To me it’s baffling that they wouldn’t include all skin tones or cater to just one! I do think that in the past few years we have seen a better shade range, but all brands need to do that!! It’s 2021, it is not acceptable to come out with products that don’t work for deeper skintones!!

@@TaniaBWells I definitely know what you mean, and they won't leave you. You will eventually laugh at them though. My first comment, I'll never forget and it's actually quite funny, but it hurt me so bad at the time. They said "Oh my God, why is your face so shiny, you look like you stuck your face in a can of crisco". And the other one was "Miss piggy, why is your nose so pugly". It hurts, we're human after all. But, you start to realize they are miserable and projecting that onto others. It's unfair, but it comes with the choice of being public in any sort of way. Weird this is. You'll get 400 amazing comments and the 1 nasty hits you like a rock. I decided to concentrate on the nice comments, and the comments that was constructive criticism that HELPED ME become a better content creator. It's harder said than done but it will get easier and easier. I appreciate when my followers say "Hey next time could you do this" or "It would be better if it was like this". They are being nice and helpful those comments I appreciate. Nasty ones, I laugh, block and move on. 🙌🙌 But you gotta laugh about that crisco can comment, that's pretty clever🤣🤣🤣 I'm here girl. It is messy! And powdery!! But you can get beautiful looks! i would spend $20 to get the Pat McGrath palette if I had to make a choice..

It is super powdery!!! :/ I don’t mind working with powdery shades but I already have these colors in other palettes that aren’t as powdery! It is beautiful though and I will be using it in my kit!

I found your channel about a week ago and love that you do a variety of looks with the one palette. You are so talented and I am so pleased Tara did a shout out to you. I wasn’t interested in this palette but you make it look so pretty on. I am just so torn as I never use ABH soft glam as I hate how powdery it is and the shimmers annoy me compared to even cheaper brands like Too Faced. My new soft glam came as a glitter explosion so I wasn’t pleased and can imagine the kick back here. Edit: how does the orange shimmer compare to the PMG palette? Another palette I am only interested in based on your tutorial.

if you don’t like how powdery the Soft glam is, you will hate this one! Also the shimmers are extremely pigmented but so so messy!!! I would absolutely choose PAT Shadows over this! The orange in pat is almost a neon. In the ABH it’s more of a firey orange!! I honestly haven’t used the Orange in Pat all over the lid, i can only compare it from swatches!! Hope this helps!❤️

@@TaniaBWells thanks Tania for your advice - I will avoid ABH as although I love it on you I think the reality is I would not get the usage. PMG sounds more ideal and although I am not sure if I could pull off its orange there are plenty of other colours if it doesn’t end up working. Yeah I don’t like matte shadows with sparkles either-it does not make any sense to me. The sparkles do not disperse evenly. Either give me a creamy, easily-blended matte OR a creamy easily-blended shimmer or metallic.

Well it is not supposed to be for the eyes ( which most of the times tells people it’s not safe to rub it in your eyes). If you are careful i think it would be fine! But def use it at your own risk!
