I always wanted to see a live action of Anastasia’s 1997 animated movie, but unfortunately this never happened and that’s why I thought of making this fanmade edit. I had a great time making it and I hope you enjoy it! ♡
Again, this is a FANMADE with actors and scenes from so many different movies and series, don’t take it as if it’s true by asking where to see it or assuming it isn’t true. OF COURSE it’s not true. Below I wrote the titles of all the movies, series and videos I used.

I am a Romanov enthusiast and I have been since I was 16 and I am 45 now. People go on and on about Anastasia but she had 3 big sisters and a little brother who quite rightly should be remembered and revered as much as she is. Anastasia was the family clown, she made everyone laugh, she climbed trees and refused to come down until her father told her to (she must have been up there all day some times!), she was a nightmare to teach- when she wasn't attacking her tutors one way or another she was trying to bribe them so she got better grades and then there's the "chimney sweep incident" when she turned up for an English lesson dressed up as a chimney sweep complete with miniature ladder and sooty face! Yes her parents were disappointed when she was born and she was a girl and not a boy but boy she made up for it!

It isn't supposed to be historically accurate. Then again, historically Rasputin is supposed to have actually said something about "if a member of your family kills me, your family will not live two years". So, then, it isn't necessarily that farfetched for the movies to pretend that Rasputin's ghost became vengeful and murdered them. It's fantasy. It isn't supposed to be reality. 😉 And actually, I've always thought that the animated movie was...not that different from what *should* have happened. ^____^

Hmmmm ... "a son would belong to the people but, this little girl is ours" was said by Queen Marie Antoinette of France, not Tzar Nicholas II of Russia. Grand Duchess Anastasia was their FOURTH daughter and, no matter how loving of parents Nicholas and Alexandra were, I'm sure by that point they were both disappointed as only a male could continue the Royal lineage. I'm iffy when movies propagate myths and historical untruths; Thank god that a part of Anna Anderson was saved post surgery and thus, years later (even though she was cremated) science could put to rest the nonsense story that Anastasia survived. All this aside, what a great mesh up of various films; amazing talent by the creator Duasia.

As a person who studied history in a professional Collegiate, I do find it difficult to appreciate "alternative histories" or aka "fiction". Grand Duchess Anastasia was a very real young woman who suffered a very tragic, dreadful murder and fate; "should" society be making cartoons about here whereby she lives Happily Every After? Why make a movie about the Titanic where it doesn't strike the burg and arrives in NYC on schedule? People w/creativity should just make up fictitious tales which do not bring into account individuals who actually existed and had some very real traumas/death. Hope you can appreciate my playing devils advocate. With irony, I think the BIGGEST compliment you have received in the comment section is from people who eagerly ask "When is this movie coming out, where can I view this film??!!"

Знаете в России этот мультфильм очень любят, всё, что связано с царской семьёй, но и с переплетениями генной боли. Слыша музыку вальса, что-то вдруг в груди сжимается и так больно становится, а слезы охватывают и заливают глаза. Потом ты вспоминаешь, что это не выдумка, не просто мультфильм, а повествования о кровавой, страшной революции...

@@Napp28 The answer to your questions is yes, yes, and yes, if you can find a good enough plot for the “titanic doesn't hit the iceberg” movie, definitely, I am skeptical it would be too interesting but go for it. Oh, and whatever you are thinking should be “untouchable” by fiction because it is “too sensitive of an issue” or whatever? Also yes, as long as it is not done in a way that is meant to mock the real victims the fiction is based on, bring it on. People have been using fiction to cope with tragedy since the dawn of time. Big deal. Historical characters are public domain, even those who met tragic fates. The real question is, who does the fairytale hurt? (That is alive and can actually be hurt by it of course 😉)

Well done! Ben Barnes and Jack Black would be great as Dimitri and Vladimir! Maggie Smith is 88 and would maybe be a little too old to play the part and it would be hard not to see her as Violet Crawley. Eleanor I'm not familiar with but she kind of looks like Anastasia. Unfortunately if Disney put out a live action Anastasia a lot of people would hate it because it's popular to hate their live action movies for some reason. And the real story did not have a happy ending (they found Anastasia had died with the rest of her family) so I don't know if they'd need to address that?
