Hello! I just wanted to reach out, I need to praise you. I'm doing applied A & P, ONLINE, with no lab. We are using pearson. This is TRULY been a blessing, a fellow student had reached out to me to check you out. I'm averaging out to a B student! Doing this course online, using the same book- THANK GOD! Even doing this class online we get to use notes and books and I'm STILL ONLY a B! I feel like i should be at least an A but this course is not just an easy A, it truly is dedication. Although this class is SO interesting to know how our body works. A TRILLION cells all functions and working trouble, with no sleep, consistently working to keep us an alive organism. It TRULY is a god damn miracle.. Thank you so much for putting all this very interesting course online. Your my saving grace. I feel so bad for the people in the world that have no idea how our body works.

Shauna! I laughed out loud reading this! You couldn't be more RIGHT! It is a miracle and so awesome! It is a tough class for sure but it sounds like you are killing it! I am so proud for you! I am so honored to have your feedback. I appreciate you so much!

Omg, you have the gift of teaching. Your style of teaching is very effective; clear and straight to the point, the tone of your voice, including the steps and the small details, patiently explaining everything. Science and math are the two hardest subjects and we need teachers who can teach them well. I have had experienced professors with PHDs and multiple degrees who are geniuses, but can't teach at all, and that is when students failed. Reading from a book doesn't help(especially if students are visual learner), they need that extra help from teachers to explain hard and confusing topic/concepts. I'm so glad there is youtube and I'm glad I found this video. I'm going to check out your other videos. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you so much! I sincerely appreciate your feedback. Tremendously! I value the time it took for you to write! I agree with your assessment of teaching styles and how difficult science and math can be. I too believe that some professors just make it SO MUCH HARDER than it has to be. So frustrating! I am so glad you found this channel too and I am honored to have you using it! Best wishes!

Just finished the whole lecture and I learned so much. As a runner, I'd like to add one thing about aerobic and anaerobic exercise. Aerobic exercise is when there is enough oxygen to keep up with the activity. You can tell when your are working out aerobically when you can talk during a workout or jog. Anaerobic exercise can be when you either workout for a short period without breathing, or when you're working so hard that the exercise uses more oxygen than you are breathing in (oxygen debt). You will know that you are "going anaerobic," when you can no longer talk while working out, and you feel lactic acid building up which is causing you to break down or have muscle failure (that feeling of your arms and legs getting heavier and heavier while running). Aerobic exercise is necessary to build heart and lung capacity (endurance), and anaerobic is good (sparingly) to build speed and your body's ability to break down lactic acid so that you can go fast for longer.
