Cann't feel the time while listening to your explanation doctor!!! thanks alot ... i just have a doupt.. where could we find the uterine artery ? is it part of the broad ligament and where exactly ??
@akram.jaffar4 жыл бұрын
The uterine is located at the base of the broad ligament just above the fascial thickening called the lateral cervical ligament. The artery almost comes from lateral (its origin from the internal iliac) to medial (destination at the junction of the cervix and body of the uterus). The most important relation that you should not forget is that close to the lateral vaginal fornix it is located just above the ureter which extends from posterior aspect to anterior (toward the urinary bladder). This is the relation that is remembered by the mnemonic "water under the bridge" that is water in the ureter flows under the bridge of the artery; usually a bridge and the undergoing water run perpendicular to each other.

At 11:45, rectovesical pouch????
@akram.jaffar9 жыл бұрын
+Sheikh Ammeer No, it is the utereovesical pouch. The mistake was corrected long ago by adding an erratum in the form of an annotation. It seems that you might have disabled the annotations from the settings; that's why you might have missed it. Anyway, I appreciate your keen observation and would like to thank you for your interest in the channel.
