The thing is with the Nurmagomedov opponents is they have theatrics. Bold gestures like smiling and taunting make it seem like they are breaking them. Hughes was a tough opponent and no doubt showed his heart. But the take downs of Usman are so powerful. The Nurmagomedovs are humble enough to admit their shortcomings and even the opponent's strength. That makes them commendable fighters.

People forget Usman is 26. He's got a lot of time to develop. Same with Hughes. Both should develop hugely over the next 5-7 years. Remember Islam wasn't the beast he is now at 26 or 27.

Maybe he needs better management of his energy during 5 rounds less kicks and less jumps for nothing. But even like this i'm afraid that his gas tank will always be his problem. It's like Conor when he was in his prime even if he trains correctly after 2 rounds he starts to lose all his power.
