Very good information for beginners. For those of us that can't use a foot pedal there is a start stop button with a manual slide for speed on most new machines. There are also some with knee levers to regulate the speed. So it's something that almost everyone can enjoy. Great job.

I always think it's great when working with kids, but you're right, there are so many other reasons it's helpful. I need to check out the knee lever - I didn't know they had it. Very nice job - I like that you explain why things are done because . . . And using that particular model of machine was a good choice for this series because it's so popular right now, especially for new sewists. Even though I've sewn for years, I like to watch other people explain things because I pick up little tips that I hadn't thought of before. I'm looking forward to your next video in this series.
