I have been a mma follower since the beginning and recently tapered off and just found out about Khabib. Some people are comparing his style to Rousey and they are partly right. But Ronda was one trick pony and elite fighters figured her out pretty quickly. On the other hand, Khabib's stand up is pretty impressive. On the ground, he does so much more than Rousey. He works the angles and leverages better than anyone I have seen. On top of the skill, he is ox strong. But most impressive is how he conducts himself with humility. You get the feeling he really means what he says. He is going to be a champion for long time.
