This is proof that the problem is in the teachers not the students. When the teacher knows what he is talking about and not merely acts like he does, the explanation is flawless. Thank you so much !

I'm a US Neurosurgery resident & this gives a very good, yet relatively detailed, explanation of the cerebral and brainstem structures. As we study these things, it is usually 2D, but it helps to have a 3D rendering tremendously. Currently for a 3D rendering, I've been using the old 35mm slides of cadaveric brain dissection by David L. Bassett (from 1950's) with viewmaster device and a radiology backlight. While nothing can compare to that original dissection, this is very helpful and easier!

I don't believe in any body's dogma, but if I did, believe in a GOD of one sort or another, I think I might be asking her to sort out the middle east man made baloney or virus manmade boloney or something important. yes, but don't worry it just cut me off saying "globus pallidus". I can't for the life of me figure out why though, because before I render the video on my computer it is fine, but after the render it cuts me off! I will add an annotation into the video so that people will know they are not missing much, other than the word "pallidus"! :)

Thank you soooo much for this amazing treasure video 🙏🏼 For a long tome I’ve been confused about the Basel ganglia and it’s relation with the hind brain or midbrain. This video is absolutely brilliant! Thank you so much! It really helps me get a visual on where each structure is and what it looks like. In my textbook, it's all just regions and not clear structures. But this video really helps me get a grasp on all of the parts. The only thing lacking is functions of the brain parts. If you could add in annotations or even put it in the description section that would be amazing. But either way, you are so much better than my professor!
