I’ve got to say thank you for helping me discover the zingers. They are incredible! They opened up the world of building my own arrows, rather than depending on a pro shop or pre-made from a manufacturer!

I run 4 Fletch AAE max stealths. I love the set up. I feel like when I'm shooting long distance, they're more consistent. I run vpa 100 gr 3 blade broad heads with brass insert weights up front. The arrows end up being pretty heavy. I think the extra Fletch makes a difference too with heavy arrows.

Also if you do horseback or aspire to, 4 fletch is good since it rests on the bow every time without having to worry about the index vane

Hi , first I want to say thank for sharing all your knowledge. I enjoy all your videos. I am new to archery. I got my first bow last September, and since then I already got a better bow and I being making my own arrows. I tried many different fletching configuration. I found that four vanes works good for my set up. Anyway , question what is the name of that super light four fletching set up you have on the video. I can't find it anywhere. Thanks again, and keep up the good work.

@@averagejackarchery thanks for getting back to me. I ordered some already, and I let you know what I think when I get them. Hey food for thought. I have gold tip airstrike arrows, and I being playing with adding weight to the front by adding the 10 grain or 20 grain weights. Is being a interesting experiment. High FOC vs loosing speed and reach. Anyway probably a subject for another video. Thanks again and keep up the amazing work. If you ever down in southern California you have a hunting buddy that you can count on.

Thanks for the tips. For a beginner bow hunter do you recommend one vs the other? Also, what are your thoughts on a zinger vs fletching yourself? I’m testing out a few now and they seem to shoot better than the ones I installed myself. But that could be because they were my first fletched arrows haha. I’m planning on shooting the magnus as well with a drop away rest. I may buy some of those zinger 4 fletch as well and just tinker. Thanks for all the information!

If you're new to wanting to tune and Fletch yourself then the Zingers would be an easy go to. Especially if all you do is bowhunt and shoot around with your buddies. For me the will remain a part of my repertoire, but won't be the staple for everything like indoor and competitive 3D. Definitely would recommend the Z4 for a fixed blade head! I experienced great results with mine and the Magnus heads.

Average Jack Archery thanks for the quick reply. Sounds good, my plan is to stick to hunting only. So maybe for now I’ll stick with the zinger. But I’ll experiment some more with 3 vs 4 and also fletching my own. Spent too much on the equipment not to haha. Thanks again.

I have Easton sonic arrows and they’re 3 fletched. I’m considering iron will single bevel broadheads but my more experienced friend said I would need to refletch to 4 vanes. That sound right? We do typically bow hunt in the South Dakota hills, it can be windy.

In your review of the zinger flitch you said they were short and quit small In this video you stated that if shooting a smaller vane like the heat you would do a 4 So if you were going to shoot the zinger would you say z4 is the direction you'd lean? Also you shot it with a biscuit How many shots (much time) with the 3 & 4 would you say you did (spent) I've shot cheap pre fletched 3vanes and after a while the get waves going through a biscuits did you experience this at all in the z3/z4 I've currently been fletching with heat vanes but I am starting a > foc build using rip-tko arrows and the fairy test kit Was thanking trying these Thoughts/Tips?
