Saw a multi pin sight the other day and one pin looked white? I agree with the red and green and do use .029 pins as I have glasses (bifocals) and when hunting and taking a 20 to 30 yard shot works well for me . Good advice

It's fine to try and shoot targets that are 50+ yards out with a compound, but I wouldn't advise anyone to hunt like that unless you have a crossbow. Rule of thumb for kill shots is that the distance between you and your target should be about half your bows draw weight. So if you have a 70lb bow, you won't want to shoot much further than 38 yards.

Umm… Ik that’s wrong because you completely disregarded draw length, and even with a short draw length and 70lbs you can still kill an elk at 80yards with a good shot

Do you have any recommendations for a bow sight with big pins that picks up a lot of light? I do some target practice out to about 40 yards, but I don't plan to hunt past 25. It would be great to have a very big and very bright first pin. But most sights I see available are .019.

Great question! A lot of companies make a .029 pin version of their sights. If you have a sight in mind the best thing to do is to search for the .029 pin size with that brand and see if anything comes up!

I’m thinking of going to a .010 because l do get a star burst kinda on a .019 l want to see more of the deer and longer distance and shorter as well . Didn’t of star burst on a .010 . Your opinion is highly appreciate please
