I'm glad that MYs still treat the stylists respectfully here. I've seen other groups' fans that straightfully, plainly rude to the stylists just because the outfits are ugly etc. I mean, yeah the stylists did mistake but a job as a stylist is never easy. Imagine have to make a deal with the entertainment company and designer. There are also lots of creative works of mixmatching outfit with accessories. They also have to coordinate with the make up team and hair stylist team, stage director, MV production team etc. And also organizing lots of costumes. That's so hectic. I love watching her fancams, watching Karina dancing. For those who cannot acknowledge the beauty in her dance moves, I am so sorry for you. This girl knows exactly when to give little details in her moves to make the moves outstanding tho she "looks like" she does not give too much power in it. I learned traditional dances, and I was a traditional dancer until before I reached my twenties. The thing with traditional dances or ballet perhaps in western society, the dances seem "lacking" of power but the truth is, it's the opposite. Its about controlling power, positioning your body parts in certain angles to picture beautiful moves, and releasing power in the details of the movement. I am assuming, either Karina has practiced ballet/a kind of traditional dance or that she just naturally has the talent. Notice how Karina tilts her head, bends down, arches her back, never fails in smiling when having eye contact with the members, controls her gazes, in a very gracious way, following the beat, perfecting her moves? She makes the simple moves outstanding by allocating her power there. I've never seen a female dancer like her. Most of the times, people are used to sharp, powerful dancing. Little do people know that the type of dancers like Karina can execute both fluid and sharp movements very well. Truth is, dancers with sharp moves may find it difficult to do fluid moves while traditional/ballet dancers may find doing sharp moves easily. Thats why it is so rare seeing a modern dancer (mastering popping, locking, etc) turns to be a ballet/traditional dancer. On the other hand, it is not rare that we see those trained as ballet/traditional dancer turns to be a modern dancer. Perfect examples in idols are Taemin and Kai. As idols trained with ballet principles, they execute sharp moves effortlessly. Let alone the fluid elegant ones. Even atm they top those who trained mainly as modern dancers. This is a rare talent in KPop. Esp in the female counterparts. Thus... If you judge Karina for her "lack of power" in her dances, I pity you. Your eyes just do not notice how little details that she adds in her moves make the moves really powerful and elegant. Just like her. Thanks for reading my very short essay :)
