I heard Anberlin first back in 2007. A girl I worked waiting tables with burned me a mix cd of her favorites and I remember listening to The Unwinding Cable Car with her, and us falling for each other from there. She passed away the following year. Ever since, Anberlin makes me think of her. Every new album I wish I could listen with her and share the experience together like we did listening to the mix cd in the parking lot after work one night. She's been gone for so long, but Anberlin will always remind me of her. I still have those burned CDs, her handwriting is still on them. I'm so glad to hear new music from one of my favorite bands, it means so much to me.

Just got back from seeing these guys in Detroit. I started listening to Anberlin in 2002 and they've been a constant in my life through the good times and the hard times.
