As someone who grew up on the heavy Anberlin sound this hits those notes in my heart so nicely. I hope when the album comes out with Matty we get this vibe. Its so nice to see the guys rocking out being heavy again too. It was a nice with Stephen, it was sad to see him go again. But now Matty will bring Anberlin into new heights can't wait for that.

This is honestly incredible. 😐🔥 not in just how dope Matty sounds as their vocalist, but I’m not gonna sit here and say I’ve listened to everything Anberlin has ever released (last actual album was New Surrender)…but I was deeefinitely unaware that the band themselves could pull off this kind of sound. 🤯🔥 “Walk Alone” I expected, but not this. 😅 I’m not sure they are just playing heavier because they have Matty involved, but goddamn is this incredible. That chorus is veryyy nicely written and an earworm while the verses are vibey as fuck. Is the guitarist singing the second half of the verses or is it all Matty? 🤔 I can’t tell. Definitely gonna be on repeat for a while.
